They leave Maeva to her work and head back to the tide pool before heading onto the coral bridge. The bridge despite being made of simple interlocking coral, is decidedly sturdy. The bridge visibly splits just a little past the half way point going towards a large cathedral like structure in one direction and an ominous looking cavernous entrance in the other. The group cross with little issue to the halfway point when the water begins to churn around the bridge and suddenly a number of large tentacles launch up and wrap around the bridge as more tentacles rise out of the water. The Kraken is back. It's tentacles coiling around the bridge prevent progress forward without combat, but it hasn't yet blocked off the path backwards.
