The Night Before (Elsie and Felix)

(This chapter will switch to third person POV as we get a peek at how Elsie and Felix's date went.)

Felix shows up to pick Elsie up at 7pm sharp. The exact time Fiona had told him to be there. His shoulder length black hair was well combed but hung loosely and naturally. His outfit was casual yet looked good on him. Low top sneakers, tight black jeans, a snug fitting white t shirt and jean jacket. His naturally tanned skin made his striking blue eyes stand out all the more.

He had thought about dressing up and bringing flowers, like Jesse had with Casey, but from what he knew about Elsie a less formal style of date would be her preference. He hoped he was correct but was wracked with doubt now that he was actually here. Was he under dressed? Did she expect a gift? Was he blowing this before it even began?

He tentatively rings the doorbell of the beautiful modern home of Elsie's aunt. He shifts nervously from foot to foot. His mouth was dry as the Sahara and his palms cold and clammy.

The door opens...the tall menacing figure of Elsie's sister stands in the doorway. She looks Felix up and down, quite obviously judging and assessing him.

Felix tries his best to act natural. It had always been difficult for him around girls despite his cute looks. "Hello Fiona." He says.

"Come in." She says more as a command than an invitation.
