The New Master

Josh had a thing for authority and discipline. So, it was no surprise that the first of the scenarios was the one that called his attention the most. He really felt it would be interesting living a fantasy as a powerful kung fu master. So, he didn’t needed to think too hard to decide:

“I’d like to be The New Master.” Josh said, and he added, “And you better be an obedient student for the great Master Josh.”

Po nodded.

“Oh, I will, Master Josh.” Po said, making a kung fu salute at him, “I have the feeling that you will make sure of it.”

That was all the panda said, before he dematerialized in a cloud of blue pixels. Soon, everything around the human started to shift and change. The infinite ceiling above changed, and now it became an actual ceiling. The ground beneath his feet changed to be a floor made of some very polished marble. Finally, walls erected themselves around him, as he was now standing in the middle of a very fancy room with big pillars sustaining the ceiling above his head.

Josh now found himself in the inside of some kind of temple, which was actually similar to the Jade of Palace, but with a clear difference of red and golden being the dominant colors.

The same colors of the clothing that Josh was now wearing. He was wearing a set of traditional Chinese clothes, with a red jacket with golden dragons emblazoned on it, and a pair of white pants. His shoes were black and they were plain, looking like the traditional kinds of shoes used in ancient China. Josh had the feeling that he definitely looked like a kung fu master.

As Josh looked at himself and he had to say, he was quite impressed with the clothes that he now wore. However, he was distracted from this by the sound of doors opening. It were the doors of the temple.

As they opened, a pig walked inside, dressed in green and white clothing, and walking to the young man, before he stopped a few feet away from him. “Grand Master Josh.” The pig said, going down to one knee before him, his fist on the ground and his head bowed in a sign of respect.

“The Dragon Warrior has just arrived.” The pig announced, his tune denoted the most absolute respect to the man he was speaking with. “He is waiting outside.”
