The Naked Island

The firefighters started clearing the building from the chemicals as carefully as possible and starting from the bottom up. They calculated this might take several days, and so luckily they had camping tents safely stored in their car. The firefighters took them out and distributed them among the people. Joanne couldn't believe she'll have to spend the rest of this vacation like this. Meanwhile, her daughter Sam was enjoying this. She liked not having clothes on, but she knew that being nude would bother her mother so she kept her clothes on; at least she could sneak sleeping completely bare. She was soon going to move to college and hoped that she could stay naked there, but this was a nice break. Lacey on the other hand had never been naked like this before, they were taking this trip to celebrate her 18th birthday and she was just coming out of her shell. She had no idea why she had never tried this, though her sister Sam had insisted she tried it a few times before. She couldn't help but enjoy the sensations like the wind and sun on her skin and the eyes all over her.

The people camped the night there, and the next morning the hijinks continued. The morning came and it was the start of a new week since it was a small island that had a lot of tourists most people did the same things at the same time each week, and it turned out that just at this time it was laundry time. Everyone in the island dumped all their clothes to do a quick wash and have everything clean for the rest of the week, what no one knew is that this time everything was going to be completely different. The cleaning the firefighters did as well as the initial explosion had pushed a lot of the liquid down the hotel's drains. This sent it to the water purification plant where it got cleaned, but the active chemicals didn't lose their strength and it mixed with the water, which was sent immediately to everyone's washing machines. By the time everyone went to check their clothing, there was nothing there. No one could go anywhere, go to work or school. This was very confusing so they called the authorities which had also lost their clothes and so were relaying and talking with one another through phone. That way some scientists took a sample of the water and noticed there were chemicals on it and with the relay of information and some deduction because of the call the firefighter woman did so Joanne wasn't in trouble they deduced it came from the hotel. Thanks to the quick relays this didn't take long, but what happened next came as a shock. Since no one was doing anything, almost everyone was watching tv hoping they might get an explanation. And then every channel started an emergency news short, which shocking everyone had the anchors in the nude and they were saying what happened, that some chemical that mysteriously got mixed in a hotel room ended in the drains and then in the water and that it dissolves clothes. They then passed to the mayor Lily completely naked making it an even bigger shock. She came on tv and announced that since all clothes are gone everyone has to continue their day and do whatever to do in the nude, besides since the island was small and not many people come she's making public nudity legal permanently which she also hopes increases tourism, and lastly even though the chemical was said that it's not harmful for people besides knocking out hair to not drink the water until it is out of the water completely.

Now with everyone going about their day naked, what will happen with everyone?
