The Mother Superior has Summoned You

That's right - in your daydreaming, you almost forgot that you were in fact on your way to see the Mother Superior. Your feet had brought you up the stone stairs to her quarters without you even thinking about it, and you take a moment to compose yourself before giving a timid KNOCK on the heavy wooden door.

"Come in," her voice calls from beyond, and you push the door open. You slip through the gap, before pushing it closed and waiting for her to address you.

"Ah, Doe," she says. You keep your eyes focused firmly on the floor, but you already know where she is - sat behind her imposing, ornate wooden desk. You can feel her eyes on you like a brand, but you still keep your own downwards. As you'd previously remembered, she seems to hold you to a strictness higher than your peers, and you would not like to invite further punishment than you likely already are in. "Do you know why I've called you here, girl?"

"No, ma'am," you respond, trying your best to keep any apprehension out of your voice.
