Chapter 5 by irisdescent irisdescent

Who are you?

A devoted Sister of the Order

You have been a member of the Order for... you're not actually sure how long, or why you initially sought shelter in these walls. What you do know, however, is that this is where you belong - close to your Goddess, both in faith and in condition.

You wear the normal simple clothing that all in your rank wear: a simple dress, accessorized with only restraints (as when Irie was captures, her material wealth was stripped from her). Thick leather cuffs encircle both your wrists and ankles, with the chain between your ankles being long enough for you to walk, but no more than that. The chain between your wrists is shorter, reminding you constantly of your relative struggle to do many activities, and therefore your worship. A matching collar adorns your neck, and while it currently has nothing attached to it, you know that if your job today required staying in one place, you would be affixed by it. The final part of your reverence is the muzzle gag that covers the lower half of your face, straps encircling the back of your head tight enough that you cannot gain any slack. Hidden by the leather is a wad of cloth, making sure that your words are actually silenced beyond just the aesthetic for it. You are thankful that today, it is a clean handkerchief - as part of the Order's teachings, punishments for misbehaviour are often humiliating as well as strict, and even someone as pious as you hasn't managed to get through your entire time here without the taste of your own dirty underwear on your tongue to rub in Mother Superior's disappointment.

Speaking of, despite your devotion, it seems like the Mother Superior has some kind of distaste for you. Even when you try your hardest to follow her order to the letter, you've started to notice that she will pick you apart on even the smallest mistake, almost taking sadistic joy in finding an excuse to punish you. You, thankfully, are not deterred from this fact - in fact, you think of it as a positive. By taking on punishments more than your spiritual Sisters, you feel even closer to Irie.
