The March Begins

You've got your Sunrider armor on, it fitting the form of your body even better. The armor itself looking exactly like a Sabre Tooth. The entire hide, the color, the short fur, the paws and claws draped over the shoulders, little patches of longer fur around the neck of the armor, almost like the mane of the tiger. The steel mesh on your arms holding two hidden small daggers. You can block more dulled blades and it's super light weight and most importantly, it will be keep you mobile. You reach your hands up, pulling the hood of your armor across your head, it drapes over your entire head, cupping across your forehead. You now look exactly like a Sabretooth Tiger, standing on it's hind legs. The teeth around the hood looking fierce and the red rubies as it's eyes burning holes as you look into a mirror in your room.

You take a deep breath "Well...here we go." you shrug it off, walking over to your dresser to grab your long and short swords, immediately placing the short sword into your waistband. You delay with the dagger though, holding onto it for a minute, twirling it in your hands. You can't help but hold out the dagger as you inspect it once more. The golden letters are engraved into the hilt that say "Claire". You smile at the blade, looking at it once more.

"To think...after all this time, after everything that has happened...you will always be by my side." you bring the blade up to your lips and give it a kiss "Claire. Always for you." you nod your head once before you begin to sheath the blade in your waistband.

You look at yourself, pepping yourself up. You eye your body over once more before you smile at yourself in the reflection. Your head nods toward the ground and you take a few deep breaths, waiting silently for a few moments before you straighten your body up and make your way towards the door, ready to exit your chambers and making your way up the mountain.

As you reach the top of the mountain, your tiger is waiting for you, still a little upset you never thought of a good name for her. You'll think of it sometime soon, maybe when you're in Murnic. You'll have a few days to relax from your journey...that's when you'll think of a good name you hope. At that point you won't have to think about much else besides more thoughts about Rathkin.

Hopping up on your tiger and walking through the streets of the Syndicate made you feel in complete control. Many of the non-warriors were out in the streets, cheering and wishing you luck. Warriors upon warriors also started to build up behind you. Some walking, some on horses and even some on tigers themselves.

By the time you reach the entrance to the Syndicate, the entire Sicilian Syndicate army is behind you.

"Well...here we go." you turn your head to the side, looking at your high commander next to you "Ready for this Ashe?"

"Yes sir!" she replies.

"Look who's ready to send you off." Ashe nods her head off to the side.

As you turn your head, you see Lexie standing there. Looking a mixture between sadness that she can't come with you as well as happiness because she knows you will lead the Syndicate to victory.

You quickly leap off your tiger, wrapping an arm around Lexie's waist and pulling her in close for one final good bye kiss. You get a few yells from behind you and some cheering. "See you soon, Lexie." you embrace her once more, holding her tight "Love you."

She gives you one final peck on your cheek "Oh and Darien?" she replies as she backs away from you. "If you have any...urges on your trip. As long as it's with a Sunrider, have fun. Okay?"

You actually just tilt your head and give her a kind of confused look.

"Oh come on, it can be a frustrating march. Then taking over Murnic, your testosterone will be sky high." she laughs "Just get a Sunrider to release that pent of energy, okay?"

"Lexie, I don't..."

"You have my permission." she laughs "Now, go!" she shoos you away with her hands.

"Psh..." you smile at her "I fucking love you" you laugh out loud as you turn around. You quickly throw your leg over your tiger and situate yourself briefly before turning around, looking at your entire army, you pull out your short sword, holding it high into the air "FOR THE SYNDICATE!!!" you shout as loud as you can while the entire force echos you.

And with that, you turn your tiger back around to begin your march south towards the outlying Rathkin city of Murnic.
