The Lizardfolk notice Becky's escape

Becky rested atop the rock, just trying to catch her breath from the terrifying swim over. She barely had enough time to readjust herself when she heard the noise she'd been dreading for a while now- a voice back on the island, shouting in the Lizardfolk's tongue. Several other voices answered, and by the sound of movement, it seemed they were spreading out to look for her.

Becky didn't waste any more time. She pulled herself up and over the other side of the rock, dropping off into the forest where the shadows of the trees and foliage could provide her some small cover. For now, the only goal was to get away from any potential pursuers, direction didn't matter, so she quickly made her way toward the thickest part of the jungle she could find.

She dropped into the brush, letting the leaves hide her form as splashes indicated the Lizardfolk hunters climbing out of the lake behind her.
