Chapter 9 by Pervyboy1 Pervyboy1

Where does this tour begin?

The Library

"Your library. To fight a war, I must know the land and my enemies." he said to her.

With a bow of respect she nodded and turned, moving forward.

He inspected the building's interiors his way as she led the way for him. simply designed and made for the practical purpose of what was needed. benches for everyone, though they were by far not the nicest. then again, that's how it should be. the simple cup of wood and the two flames that danced around the alter made him realize something.

"Where is the priest?" he asked his guide as they walked together up the first flight of steps.

"He's in the noble district, begging for support. some body or some group has been **** Puric women..."

She didn't need to finish, he knew what she was going for. In his head he made a mental note to begin hunting for those responsible.

"Don't worry, Cora. They will have their punishment soon."

She stopped and turned to face him as they reached the final steps on the stairs. He could see it bothered her what had happened to her equals. And there was something more there too, a fierce fire for vengeance.

"I know, and I'll smash their ribcages and heads with my war hammer. Also, we are here." With that, she opened the door.

The library had a treasure trove of books, all in various states of usage. It extended a few dozen meters, 48 at most, with a length of about half of it. a table with ink and feather, ready for usage.

"May I borrow your bench and table?" he asked.

"That's not mine. That's sister Nora's. She's gone to bed already. but sure."

Victor figured he'd meet the other sister in the morning as he moved to the table and sat down on its simple, lacking back support bench.

Immediately, he took the pen and started writing.it was a list of the supplies would be need for this mission as well as to report that he had indeed made it there alive. Delivery of them would involve sneaking them into the city of course, but they would be needed. His extra war gear, money, and medical supplies would all be needed.

"So, you really are a one man war?" She asked as she read over her shoulder.

"Yes I am, and I'm here to serve." he replied as he finished the letter and put his seal on the paper.

"Now, let's go to bed. we have a schedule ahead of us."

What happens?
