The Kiss at the End

{if Meek = true}{if Male = true}(Meek) You rested a hand on her shoulder and gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. Of course, true or not, you assured her that it was the movie that you would have wanted to watch, even if she had let you pick. You reminded her that the reason you fell in love in the first place was that you were both dorks.

“Oh. Okay. Well, so long as you enjoyed yourself too…” {endif}{if Female = true}(Meek) You clasped her hands in yours and brought yourself together into a dainty kiss with her. When it broke, you both let out a little giggle. You assured you’d be content watching any movie if it was her. But, regardless, you had a enjoyed it too. You reminded her that the reason you fell in love in the first place was that you were both dorks.

Suddenly, without warning, she rushed back into the kiss. Now no dainty exploration, you eagerly locked lips in the street. Your eyes fluttered shut and you pressed yourself forward into her, only to be met by the same from her. A long, passionate kiss that told you just how much your wife loved and desired you.{endif}{endif}{if Meek = false}As you were walking down the street with your wife, she suddenly stopped in place. You turned and asked her what was wrong, but she insisted there wasn't anything wrong. Then, suddenly, she leaned forward and planted a long kiss on your lips. From instinct, you wrapped your arms around her and pulled her closer.

“Thank you. For today…and for everything. Mph. You’re my world.”{endif}

After the kiss, you made your way back to the little home you shared together. But, before you even finished your meal, you and your wife started to discuss a topic. One which would herald changes to your relationship that you could not yet fathom.

Once dinner ended, you both took your dishes to the sink and washed them together. When you returned to the table, it was to continue the discussion in earnest. With the window open, the low buzz of cicadas chirping hung in the background. Then the conversation really started in earnest. One whose topic was nothing less than a discussion about whether you'd be in an open marriage.
