The Interviews are a disaster!

As she heard back about her applications, Monica began a series of interviews with various news agencies. The interviews were disasters. First of all, it was clear everyone who interviewed her had seen her graduation humiliation. As soon as she entered the interviews Monica was subjected to knowing glances, leers, amused smirks and double entendre comments.

This was hardly surprising once Monica considered it. These were journalists and editors of some of the most prestigious reporting outlets in the world. Of course they would look into anyone who they were considering hiring, and dig up the photos and videos of Monica's public shame. But, this totally threw Monica off her game. She found herself stammering, scrambling her words and utterly fumbling basic questions. Her brain would go blank as they smirked at her, and she'd flash back to standing naked onstage, everyone laughing at her. The embarrassment destroyed the confidence that was normally her greatest skill.

As a month went by, and more and more potential employers were checked off her list, Monica grew more and more ****.
