The Good Future

The group exits the "tent" and find themselves back in the camp. The now familiar sensation of time travel is present, but what they find is unexpected. The camp is whole again. Angels travel around performing various duties, Nagi is still here, but the place looks fine, like the attack never happened. It's unclear if you're here now before the attack took place or if this is another jump forward to a point after the camp was fully rebuilt.

There's an angel standing at a stall next to Nagi and she beckons Take over. As Take reaches her she freezes as she recognizes the angel. It's Saffiel, fully healed and dressed in gleaming armor. "We must be forward in time then, after we saved her at least," Malphiel notes.

"Take... Malphiel. I was told by the shark lady you'd be back. I didn't think I'd have to wait so long. This time distortion stuff is very confusing," Saffiel admits.

"I'm glad to see you're okay. When the time changed again I'd worried we wouldn't see you again," Take admits.

"I'm doing well and the whole camp is all thanks to you, which is why I've been authorized to do this," she says and places three items onto the stall counter. A gleaming bow, a white glowing spellbook and a necklace. The necklace has a pendant attached depicting an angelic woman, her hands clasped in prayer, wings outstretched and her body a hollow vial filled with a glowing white liquid.

"These are for us?" Take asks.

"I'm afraid I'm only authorized to give you one. The higher ups are worried the Tower will object if we give you too much too soon," Saffiel says apologetically.

Malphiel approaches, "that's... Elysium, right?" she says looking at the bow.

"You know it?" Saffiel asks.

"It was the favoured weapon of my unit commander before she... Well my entire unit was captured on the battlefield and I don't know the fates of the others, but I assume most of them would be dead by now." she says.

Saffiel looks apologetic and then speaks, "Elysium is one of the holy armaments. Powerful weapons of the Tower Above. They are the pure equivalent to the demonic weapons churned out by the Archdemon of Gifts. They are rarer and generally more powerful as well they don't come with the downsides demonic weapons are usually associated with. Elysium specifically is a bow that needs no physical ammo. It draws instead from the caster's mana to fire bolts of holy light. Effective against almost all foes, but especially those of demonic kin. It costs for angels at least usually only one mana per bolt, but the cost might be higher for a non-angel. I don't know," Saffiel admits.

She then moves on to the spellbook, "this is a random holy spell. They wouldn't let me give you a choice of spells. If you take it you will gain a random angelic ability from Divine Grace, Angelic rays, God's Light, or a number of other options," she explains.

"Lastly this is the essence Vault," she says gesturing to the necklace. "It's... The remaining essence of a powerful angel. Her being though lost left behind some of her power. While wearing it you get an external mana source to draw from. It cannot be refilled, well unless you kill more angels, which you wouldn't do. Anyway while it can't be refilled, the source is vast, easily giving you an unrefillable vault of 500 excess mana you can use to cast spells or otherwise," she explains.

"Again unfortunately you can only choose one," Saffiel says.

"After which you still also have my boon," Nagi suddenly reminds you from her own shop stall.
