The Gazebo

As you walked outside of the dining hall you could see the a full moon in the sky. With your wand in hand you made your way out to the wooden gazebo on campus. While most students were either asleep or wandering the campus this area of the campus was a ghost town with no visible crowds or groups of any students at all.

As you climbed the stairs you could see the gazebo and there was Harmony in her regular school uniform sitting on a bench staring at the moon. Looking around you had your guardian stand at the bottom of the stairs while you placed a silencing sigil on the floor.

Standing up once more you took a deep breath before approaching the bench sitting down to the left of Harmony. She turned and looked at you before smiling a real genuine smile one you had never seen before. “I didn't really feel like I fit in you know before we- you know.” Harmony she said with a slight blush.

You smiled before speaking “Your welcome I know it can be scary feeling like a stranger all the time and nobody should feel that way but I’m used to it by now.” You said as turned to look at the moon.

Harmony ran a hand through her hair before continuing. “So do you like girls with long hair?” You chuckled as Harmony blushed before replying. “I like any kind of hair so long as the girl likes their hair.”

The gazebo was silent before Harmony spoke again. “So why did you ask me out for the New Year Formal? There are plenty of girls who would have said yes.” You nodded before speaking. “Maybe your right but as far as I know anyone else would have said no and besides I wanted to spend the New Year Formal with someone special.” You replied.

Now Harmony was blushing madly you could see she was nervous before she spoke. “So you want to go to the New Year Formal dance with me?” She said closing her eyes as she waited for your reply. You smiled you had never seen Harmony nervous at all or acting like this at all in response you took her left hand into your hands before looking at her one more time.

“There is no one else I would ask for something special like this.” As you looked into Harmony’s deep brown eyes she smiled and before you could react she pushed forward kissing you.

Her lips were soft and supple against your own. You could feel her relax into the kiss however before you could do anything she pulled back blushing like mad. “I am sorry I-“ you didn’t give her a chance to even think about it before standing up and drawing her into another passion filled kiss holding her in your arms gently. Before you both separated for oxygen.

This time you were both now standing opposite of each other Harmony blushing her eyes looking down at the ground hands twiddling her fingers. You however were grinning like a madman you had just kissed your first girl and the most beautiful one to boot as well.

It was Harmony that broke the silence however. “So was that yes to the dance?” she said nervously. You chuckled before drawing Harmony into a hug. “You kiss me like that one more time and I would be a madman to say no but yes I would love to go to the dance with you Harmony.”

Harmony hummed in approval and the two of you sat down with Harmony leaning onto you content to be with you. Before she spoke once more. “Does this make us a couple then Nathan?” Harmony said softly as if she was afraid if she spoke to loudly she would wake up from the dream.

You looked down at Harmony and smiled before replying. “Do you want us to be couple because if so you need to know that I have no clue how to go on a date, much less kiss, or be a good boyfriend in general.”

In response Harmony looked up at you replying. “That was my first kiss too and as for dating well I am in the same boat as well I never thought I would get to date a guy as all the guys who asked me out were either interested in my body or my family’s money.” She said as snuggled into your arm wrapping it around herself before holding your hand.

You chuckled before replying. “I guess we both can learn how to do this dating thing although I have to warn you that I don’t know how to dance.” Harmony chuckled before replying. “Don’t worry I can teach you my mother she always loved to dance and taught me how to dance when I was little girl.”

You nodded staring at Harmony filled with satisfaction you were the boyfriend to the most beautiful girl on campus no the world. As you stared at Harmony she spoke once more. “What are you thinking about hmm?” You nodded before replying.

“I am just thinking about how I came here just to ask you out for the New Year dance now I’m going home with not only a date for the New Year dance but a girlfriend and not just anyone but the sexiest most beautiful girl in the world!” You exclaimed.

Harmony chuckled in response leaning her head onto your chest before speaking once more. “Your an idiot Nathan BlackThorn but your my idiot now.” In response you simply grinned the stupidest grin you could manage drunk on happiness and love. Nothing could ruin tonight nothing at all.
