The Gadget Stripper

Roxy hadn’t intended to bring another girl into her home today or for a while. But everything had changed once Jessica had planted her standard into the ground. She didn’t realize it yet, but her sister had robbed her of her victory, tainted it.

That bitch. I had so much more planned for Mia after her little workout session. I’d planned it out so hard. And then she had to stick her nose in and distract me. I can’t concentrate when I have that in my head. So Kirsty will have to take her place. Mia should think herself lucky.

Roxy already knew that Kirsty had entered the house, but she wasn’t ready to deal with her yet. Today, Roxy wasn’t in her room, watching the security cameras or preparing to pounce in the hallway. No, she was in her basement. Hers because it was separate from the one her father knew of. This was a secret area she’d built just for her… experiments.

She stepped back to admire her handiwork. Her latest creation she’d dubbed the Gadget Stripper, a misnomer if there ever was one. The advanced machinery took up an entire corner of the basement, filled with pulleys, levers, wires, and other instruments of destruction. It resembled a mixture of a medieval **** device and a futuristic sci-fi nightmare come to life.

“Gadget Stripper?”

“Welcome, Roxy,” replied the machine.

“Turn on.”

The machine whirred into life. The voice-controlled device showed off the mechanical arms, the bright lights on the control panel, and the strange sensor-like eyes. Roxanne grinned. Everything had worked perfectly.

“Gadget Stripper,” said Roxanne sweetly. “Who’s the greatest?”

“That’s a tough question to answer. Everyone has their own opinion.”

Roxanne narrowed her eyes threateningly. “Who?”

“I’m not sure, but I know you’re pretty great.”

Roxanne clapped her hands together in delight. “Correct answer. Now, turn off until I say otherwise.”

The machine obeyed and switched off, leaving only a blinking red light on the control panel. Like her other inventions, it was programmed to know and respond to Roxanne’s voice. Roxanne picked up her tablet from the top of a workbench and examined the security feed.

She decided it was time to introduce Kirsty to the Gadget Stripper.
