The First Night, Part 1
After the opening ceremony concluded, Sera led her guests back to the lobby (with Mallory at the end of the procession, for obvious reasons). Once inside, she gestured to doors at the start of both hallways on either side so the central staircase, one of them a normal door, and the other a door to an elevator.
“To the right of the staircase, you’ll find the elevator. It can take you to the second floor, where the contestants’ rooms are, the top floor, where the Mistress’ Suite is located, or to the basement, which holds one of our larger recreational rooms.” Sera explained. “The elevator is also the only way to get to the Mistress’ Suite, and each contestant can only access the button for it on the day of their date with Mistress Aífe. To the other side of the staircase is the manager’s office. If you have any questions or concerns and can’t find me, just take a seat at the table inside, and I’ll be with you shortly.” She turned toward Aífe and gently placed a hand on the Mistress’ cheek. “Now, my dear. You’ve had quite an eventful day. Why don’t you go ahead and go up to your room to unwind? I have a few more things to explain to your harem members that mostly just apply to them. I’ll be up in a little while with some food; we can talk more then.”
“Yeah, okay.” Aífe said before stretching and yawning. “I am getting pretty tired. Just don’t do anything weird to them while I’m gone. I don’t want to wake up and see they’ve transformed any more than they already have.”
“Not unless they ask me to, dear.” Sera gave Aífe a small wave goodbye as she entered the elevator to go up to her suite. She then turned to the others as they eyed her with caution. “Oh, you all can stop with the suspicious looks; I was being truthful when I said I wouldn’t transform again tonight without your consent. Though, I should add that this only applies as long as none of you break the rules, but I doubt you’d do anything so rash tonight.”
The group grumbled their assent, and Sera took that as her cue to continue. She led them to a set of double doors at the end of one of the hallways—an odd sight, given that the building shouldn’t have been big enough for there to be anything past these doors, based on its outward appearance. They were surprised to the that this hallway led to… another hallway. Except this one had what appeared to be a couple of stores—one on either side. The first was obviously a clothing store, though it was apparently closed for the evening. The second was open, but entirely inscrutable in its purpose, as all it contained was a series of mirrors.
“Wow, this place is bigger on the inside!” Aoba gasped in fake astonishment, sensing a good moment to make a reference.
“Cool your jets, nerd. This isn’t Doctor Who.” Cecilia responded bluntly.
“Oh, and how exactly did you know it was a Doctor Who reference?” Aoba quipped back smugly.
“Uh… I caught a rerun on the BBC while I was waiting for Downton Abbey to come on.” The redhead answered unconvincingly.
“Oh? And how could you tell it was a rerun?” Aoba pressed her advantage.
“Because it was an episode of Tenant’s second season, and this was after Matt Smith had already taken over as the Doctor, duh.” Cecilia snapped back, before realizing her mistake. Aoba simply maintained her smug grin, happy to have gotten one over on the snotty rich girl.
“Sounds like I’m not the only nerd here, huh?” Aoba teased.
“Can it, Shrimpy!” Cecilia stormed off to stand in a different part of the group.
“Enough, ladies. Please let us stay on topic.” Sera brought them back to attention as she gestured to the darkened storefront. “This is our clothing boutique, offering nearly any piece of clothing you can imagine! You need simply request it, pay the BP cost for it, and have your measurements taken, and it will be ready in a matter of hours! While it won’t be open until tomorrow morning, its neighboring shop is self-serve and open anytime outside of curfew—which is midnight for anyone not on a date with the Mistress.” Sera guided through the doors of the mysterious shop. “Welcome to our transformation shop!”
“What the hell?! You just said you weren’t going to transform us again!” Erica asked indignantly.
“I said I wasn’t going to transform you without your consent,” Sera corrected, “and I was being truthful. You aren’t required to take on any of the transformations offered here. This is merely a place where you can spend your BP to purchase transformations for yourself.”
“And why would we want to do that?” Aria inquired. “I’m pretty sure most of us are trying to get out of this place with as few transformations as possible.”
“Because transformations purchased here are beneficial! Some might help in your attempts to woo the Mistress, while others offer improvements to your quality of life, in general.” Sera gestured toward the rows of mirrors. “Go on, try touching some of the mirrors to see what we have to offer.”
A few of them cautiously stepped forward and examined the mirrors in front of them. There were several categories, such as body transformations, mental transformations, clothing transformations, and even reality adjustments, each one having a few different mirrors associated with them. When they touched the mirrors, they lit up with the same magic Sera had used for the water curtain screen earlier.
“Whoa, that’s a lot of options… wait a sec—these are all just increases to bust size!” Aoba said, exploring the options offered by one of the body mirrors.
“Ah, yes. I see you’ve found the breast mirror in the shop.” Sera chuckled at her own pun. “It also offers lactation induction and mostly painless nipple piercing, if you’re feeling a little extra kinky.”
“General body improvements, huh… ooh! This one’s just convenient!” Diona smiled as a transformation caught her eye. “And… bought!”
-300 BP (1200 Remaining)
“What on Earth did you buy?” Elise peeked over Diona’s shoulder to check her purchase, only to furrow her brow in distaste.
Girls Don’t Do That: The purchaser will no longer produce bodily waste.
“Ugh, horrible name aside, how does that even work? I wouldn’t want my body being altered that thoroughly if I didn’t know the specifics.” Elise turned to Sera expectantly.
“Do you truly want the details as to how that sort of transformation might work? Wouldn’t you prefer to leave it at a simple explanation of ‘it’s magic’?” Upon hearing Sera’s response, Elise reevaluated and realized that, no, she really didn’t want to know.
“Let me get in there and grab that one.” Erica reached between them to purchase the transformation for herself.
-300 BP (2200 Remaining)
“Really, Erica? I’m surprised you’d want to purchase anything.” Aoba questioned the tomboy. “I’d figure you’d want nothing to do with anything transformation related.”
“Yeah, ask me that again when you’re stuck in an outfit like this.” Erica gestured to the leotard and pantyhose she was **** to wear. “I sure as hell don’t want to find out how much of a pain it is to use the bathroom in this getup. Besides, given where we are, I wouldn’t put it past them to have some kind of weird, fucked up sex toilets or something.” The other contestants were silent as they let Erica’s words sink in. A moment passed before they all joined her in making the purchase.
All contestants BP scores updated
“Glad you’ve all found something you like. In addition to the options sold here, you will all have a selection specific to each of you available through the mirror on the vanities in your rooms.” Sera began leading them out of the shop and back to the lobby. “I recommend you take the time to examine those, and the other transformations available from the shop, in your free time. Now, while there are plenty of other places available starting tomorrow, I feel it would be better for you to explore them on your own.” Once they had returned to the lobby, Sera turned to them again. “As for how to get to those places, simply walk through a set of double doors at the end of a hallway while thinking of what you’re looking for. The building’s magic will take care of the rest.”
“You can’t be serious. If there’s no rhyme or reason to the layout of these hallways, what’s stopping us from getting lost from hallway to hallway? What if there’s an emergency, and we’re too panicked to think of where we’re going?” Aria expressed some reasonable concerns.
“Already been accounted for, Miss Aria.” Sera smiled reassuringly. “The door’s default setting is the lobby, so walking through them with an invalid destination in mind, or no destination at all, simply results in you walking back into the lobby.” She could see that Aria was unconvinced. “Go ahead and try it for yourself—walk through while imagining your apartment.”
“Fine, if you say so.” Aria trudged through the door they had just come through, only to end up facing the group once again. “Well, I’ll be damned.”
“In a moment, I’ll have you all go up to the second floor.” Sera gestured toward the staircase. “Our head maid will be waiting up there for you. She’ll give you your room assignments before showing you to the dining hall for a light dinner.” They all nodded their understanding. “Before we part, however, I should explain how the next 10 weeks will transpire.”
“10 weeks? I thought we were supposed to be here for 90 days. 10 weeks is only 70.” Elise pointed out.
“Week is merely used to denote a series of equal spans of time in this context.” Sera clarified. “For the purpose of our show, the word ‘week’ refers to 9 days, rather than 7. Tomorrow will be the first day of week 1. Each week will have 8 days of individual dates—one for each contestant—followed by the weekly challenge, transformation poll, and Best Girl poll on the 9th day. We’ll be using the same contestant order for week 1 as what we’ve been using tonight, so tomorrow is your date with the Mistress, Erica.”
“Cool. It’ll be a good chance to do some catching up with her.” Erica was more than happy to go first; she was never a big fan of waiting. No matter how many times her dad had tried to teach her patience on their numerous fishing trips, the lesson never stuck very well.
“Good. Once you’ve finished with your dinner, I highly recommend turning in early. I’m sure you’re all quite tired, and you won’t be able to sleep in very much. Breakfast starts at 7:30, and everyone must be present in the dining hall at 9, as that is when any relevant announcements are made.” Once she could see that they all understood, she gestured for them to make their way upstairs. “With that, I must bid all of you good night. I still have to bring Mistress Aífe her meal, after all.” Once they had ascended, Sera made her way to pick up the Mistress’ meal before entering the elevator.
