The First Immune

Rachel Johnson, was a 40 year old office worker and a mother of two. She had waiting on the bus until five of your bodies boarded carrying Spore Sacks. Within a minute everyone on the bus was infected and assimilated into your hive mind. Now having come home for the night, You open the door to her house and step in. You walk inside and notice Rachel’s daughter’s shoes at the front door.

“Melissa?!” You call out. “I’m home!”

“Hey mom!” Melissa, the daughter says back from upstairs.

“You feeling better honey?” You ask as you set down your purse filled with spore sacks.

“Yeah the antibiotics the doctor gave me the other day seem to be working. I’m feeling a lot better.” Melissa’s voice started approaching as she appeared to be coming downstairs.

“That’s good. I have something here for you.” You tell her.

“Oh! Cool!” Melissa finally having come down the stairs stands in front of you.

Melissa was a cute girl. She had short black hair and was very beautiful. Her older brother was serving as an accountant in the town next over. Melissa was still going to college to be an accountant herself. She had an ear infection earlier in the week and was taking medicine for it. She was a very smart girl and seemingly had a bright future ahead of herself, but she was about to have a much more wonderful future as part of you.

“What did you want to show me Mom?” She asked standing in front of you.

Then without warning you forcefully kiss the surprised 20 year old daughter on the lips much to her surprise. Grabbing her wrists and pinning her against the wall she tried to resist. She confused and clearly doesn’t like it and you **** your tongue between her lips and start pushing spores into her body. You feel your spores begin to travel the insides of her body but you feel… nothing?

You can feel your spores inside her suddenly dying once they enter her blood stream! How could this be?! This had never been a problem. Even with Nicole from earlier in the day you could feel your spores inside her body.

You stop kissing her realizing that poring more spores into her would be pointless. Instead you **** her into a restraining hold and rush another one of your bodies over to the house.

“Mom what’s wrong with you?! Let me go!” Melissa shouts confused at what’s happening.

“Join us Melissa, don’t resist!” You tell her.

“The hell are you talking about Mom?!” She struggles in your grasp.

Suddenly the front door opens and an Incubator Feeder walks in holding a spore sack at the ready and approaches both of you.

Your other body holds the spores sack right in front of Melissa’s face. The spore sack opens and a burst of spores floods the room! And you can feel your spore entering Melissa’s body but then dying upon entering her body! With direct exposure to a spore sack it should’ve been the same amount of spores that Nicole was exposed to when she was fully assimilated. The only conclusion you can think of is that Melissa is somehow immune to your Spores! What do you do? Take her back to your Central Brain, imprison her in the town jail? Or try and communicate with her and convince her to help/join you?
