The Dwarf who rescued you

“I’m the dwarf who rescued you from yourself. And that orc.” You say tapping it’s head with your boot. She shifts uncomfortable and draws her knees up to her chest.

“Thank you.” She blinks a couple times but otherwise stares at the floor.

“Iyda. We need to go. We’ve been too much time here already.” Syvella says in a hushed tone from the door way.

“Listen lass.” You say grabbing Kayo’s arm. “I know yer processin’ a lot right now but ya gotta get outta here. It’s a straight shot to a gap in the palisade just head down the hill and keep going straight.”

She doesn’t seem to stir at this information.

“C’mon lass!” You say frustrated. “Your mates Darren and Frost are out there right now riskin’ their lives to save ya. You gotta go!” The names of her former companions sparks recognition in her eyes.

“O-ok, I’ll try.”

“Trying is good enough, just be fast.” You give her arm a reassuring squeeze and break the connection before pacing to Syvella.

“Let’s go.” You give Kayo one last sympathetic glance before making your way out of the tent with Syvella.
