The Doctors theory (and plan)

"In truth, Remy, you seem like a guy with a lot of sexual hang ups that you're clearly ignoring." Dr. Dovercourt said, much to his surprise.

He really wanted to protest that statement, but he decided the smarter move, at the moment, was to keep his mouth shut.

He knew there was no point in raising a stink over a potential ego bruise, the last thing he needed was for an argument to break out over something like that.

"I know that my opinion doesn't exactly fill you with happiness, but I think that might be a big part of your problems." Angela continued.

Remy simply listened as she stated her case.

She explained things plainly, making sure he could understand every bit of her theory.

The core of it was that she felt that Monogamy wasn't natural to Remy and that was weakening him for whatever was causing him problems.

In her mind, it was an issue that he had to confront head on.

Which Remy was very uncertain of and he asked her how she intended to help him do that.

"I want to hypnotize you and then I'll try to confront your problems in a setting where nothing can be hidden from me." Angela proclaimed.

That caught Remy off guard.

He'd spent years keeping control of his life and this meant allowing someone else to potentially control him.

Especially if it was someone he barely knew.

It had been his worst fear come true, but he was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

He knew that whatever fears he had about being hypnotized were nothing compared to the alternative.

"If this is what we gotta do, then this is what we gotta do." Was all he could say.

Dr. Dovercourt nodded, she reminded him that they had no time to waste.

Remy understood and soon enough, he found himself being hypnotized by her.
