The Discussion

"How about the rooftop of Otonokizaka?" Kotori asked me after I racked up my brain in thinking for the best concert location.

"Otonokizaka? The all-girls school? Is the rooftop suitable for a concert, though?"

She nodded, "It's actually pretty large and I think it can accommodate a stage." I rubbed my chin and nodded. If they performed at a school, they might attract more younger audiences into becoming their fans.

I told Kotori that the stage might be a good idea and she gave me the number to the principal.

"Are you sure I can just contact her like this?"

"Oh, don't worry. She's my mother."

So here I am having a discussion with the principal of Otonokizaka All Girls School. Entering this school in and out of itself has been pretty nerve-wracking since I'm literally the only guy around. Fortunately, we had the discussion in the principal office, away from the prying eyes of the students.

I explained to her about the rooftop and how we would like to hold a stage performance up there for Love Live qualifying. Throughout the discussion, she held a pretty flat face, so it's quite hard to determine how she felt about this.

"And what can you provide to us in return?" The principal, Principal Minami asked me with a stern face.

Crap.

The question has been in my mind for a while and I'm quite anxious on whether she'll ask it or not, but apparently she does ask.

I cleared my throat, "μ's might be a new group, but I believe that their performance will not be that of a newbie group. I'm confident that their performance will bring publicity to your school at the same time."

"Publicity, you say?"

"Ah, of course we'll pay to use the rooftop as well. Money isn't an issue here." In the end, I have to resort to using money. It's a last resort and I was hoping that we can save up more for our office instead, but if we truly need it then it's inevitable.

Principal Minami started giggling at my reply.

"It's okay. You don't have to pay the school for your performance. I'm pretty sure that the students will love having μ's perform at Otonokizaka. Especially since they're seeing their senpai perform as an alumni of the school."

"Thank you so much! Wait... Alumni?"

"Oh, didn't you know? μ's used to study here."

After finishing the discussion with the principal, the girls are waiting for me, eager to know the answer. I gave them a thumbs up and our plan will go on.

μ's will perform on the rooftop of Otonokizaka School for the qualifying.
