The Dark Lord's minions have found you!

The inn and nearby stable have been surrounded by a mob of gruesome undead warriors. The decaying corpse warriors are branded with the unholy mark of the Dark Lord and they wear armor and carry weapons almost like living soldiers, but you can see that most are mutilated or have visibly mortal wounds and some have decayed nearly to skeletons. A number of them hold sputtering torches that cast a warm light pushing back the unnatural fog that has been drawn in with their arrival.

The patrons and workers of the inn have been captured by these terrifying creatures and all save for the axe wielding barbarian man have been driven to their knees with swords held to their throats. The barbarian is still standing, battling desperately against a massive undead beast thick with bulging muscles. As you watch the brave barbarian is struck in the chest with the creature's axe. The beast kicks him back, pulling the axe out and chops the warrior's head form his shoulders. His dead body slumps to the ground.

A figure steps forward from the crowd of undead warriors. Tall and robed, the figure pulls back the hood and reveals a beautiful woman with a corpse pallor to her face. Her long, black hair is elaborately plaited and she is exquisitely beautiful, the robe sliding from her shoulders to reveal that she is tall and voluptuous, with her huge breasts lifted enticingly by a corset of black leather. She wears thigh-high boots with stout heels that lift her ass and her mound is covered by a crimson triangle of silk fabric. She holds a thorny flail in her hand, flicking it absently as she strides into the light.

"Come out, stone-bearer," she shouts. "I know you are still inside. Come out and show yourself, or watch these pitiful creatures be killed one by one. No? Not coming out? Then I will start with that one."

She points a sharp-nailed finger at Yona and the beautiful daughter of the innskeeper is dragged in front of the towering woman by a rotting warrior. Her mother and father begin screaming and fighting, but they are restrained by the warriors.

"We have to get out of here," mutters Furgus. "There are too many of them and they are commanded by Selena the Blackhearted. She's one of the Dark Lord's most powerful lieutenants."

Selena grabs Yona's hair with her fingers and yanks the girl's head back. She runs a black fingernail across her pale throat producing a scarlet trickle of blood. Yona is crying and whimpering in fear. Selena leans down and whispers something to her.

"She says she is scared," laughs Selena and the undead host cheers and beats their weapons against their shields. "I could strike her head from her shoulders or pull out her entrails, but I think something more gruesome for this one. Bring forth the maggot!"

Rotting oxen wheel a cart from out of the mists. A bulky shape is shrouded by a canvas sheet. It moves in an unwholesome way. Selena walks over and throws back the tarp, revealing the massive creature hidden within. It is like a maggot of immense size, its pale body rippling as Selena coaxes it out of the cart and onto the cobblestones. It has the stretched, horrifying face of a man and you can see that, although it has no limbs and moves along more like a snake, it does have vestiges of arms and legs flopping on its hideously bloated form.

Yona begins screaming as the beast shudders towards her. The others struggle and cry out in fear at its disgusting movement.

"Is this what you want, stone-bearer? Are you so cowardly and perverse you would watch this poor, innocent girl be defiled and eaten by the maggot? Give up. Surrender yourself to me and I promise you will be taken to the Dark Lord without harm." She snaps the flail in her hand. "Come out, or I turn the maggot loose on little, innocent Yona here."

"Don't listen to her," says Furgus. "They're all doomed. There is nothing we can do. We have to escape up the mountain and take the stone to the druids. Their magic protects them from the undead. We'll be safe."

Selena stares up, directly at you, and you can see that she is moments away from loosing the maggot on poor Yona.
