The Dagger.

Rivianne moves over to the same shelf that your sword was located at and picks up another thin cloth wrapped item before moving back over to you, extending her arms and offering it to you "I think you'll like this even more..." she has a cocky grin on her face.

As you lift up the cloth sheet, your eyes go wide as this gorgeous dagger comes into view. Your mouth drops open as you just look down at the dagger still being held in Rivianne's hands.

The dagger wasn't completely straight which is something you weren't really use to seeing, the tip of the dagger had just a slight upwards curve to it. Down the very shape blade towards the bottom of it you could see it was serrated. "I like that..." as your finger trails across the serrated marks "Ow.." you groan out as the blade is so sharp it actually slices the skin briefly.

"You idiot!" Rivianne says causing both her and Lexie to chuckle.

You finally pick up the blade from Rivianne's hands, holding it closer to your face. The top side of the blade itself, almost like the sword, was a darker shade of steel, obviously a little more reinforced. The guard itself matched the short sword with only two brownish gemstones on each side of it and it had the same color looking like that of a sabre tooth's fangs. Down the handle it had a perfect grip so your fingers felt in the perfect position. The pommel of the dagger had the same type of gemstone as the sword, a lone darker red gem finishing the look.

"This is..." you just shake your head as you hold the blade firmly in your grasp, doing a few thrusts forward "Wow..."

"And you haven't even seen the best part yet!" Rivianne says

You look up at the two women before you, Lexie standing side by side next to Rivianne, with the biggest smile on her face. "I hope you don't mind...but I asked Rivianne to do something special to the dagger..."

"Huh?" you're still somewhat confused as you look down over the blade once more but don't really notice anything you haven't seen yet "Uhhh, the blade? I'm uhh.."

Rivianne just rolls her eyes "Turn the handle over you idiot..."

You carefully twirl the blade in your hand, showing the other side of the handle, looking at it carefully you notice something. "What the..." you squint your eyes as you bring it closer to your face "Is that..." engraved onto the handle of the dagger in small beautifully decorated golden characters, the name "Claire." You mouth just drops open as you look onto the engraved handle, you can actually sense a little bit of water building up in your eyes.

"I hope you don't mind..." Lexie whispers as she steps forward, bringing her hands up to hold onto your forearms "I told Rivianne...I figured it would mean that much more to you. You will always carry that dagger by your side, you'll always have Claire by your side..." she looks up at your eyes and smiles at you.

What Lexie didn't know is that you have always carried something around with you everywhere you go that will always remind you of your sister, that beautiful purple tulip petal. You just continue to stand there, mouth gaped open, looking at the engraving on the handle. This is another thing you will forever cherish your entire life, just like that little pressed petal... "It's perfect..." your eyes never straying from the handle "Absolutely perfect..."
