The Comforts of Home
Just being your mother makes you feel inexplicably comfortable. You do a bit of house cleaning, as per usual, then go into the living room and play some video games. The new gamer side of your mother may be a bit odd to the family, but not as bad as the new female homemaker side of you if they knew.
You make some dinner for your siblings, or your children while in this body. Jessica can't help but notice your body's absence from the dinner table, which you explain by saying, "He went to his friend Jeff's house." The twins didn't seem to care about your absence, but also weren't bothered with food as much as fighting between themselves. You decide to punish them by keeping them in separate rooms; Mike in your old room, and Sally in the room she's supposed to share.
Having kept order in the house so well, you congratulate yourself with a warm shower before going to bed. As you drift to sleep in your soft bed, you have a strange dream. You start the dream as your mother, going to the market and doing normal things as she would, and enjoying every moment of it. After a while, you drive to the train station, and meet your mother. You then realize you're not your mother anymore, but your old self again. Your mother asks, "Will I ever see you again?"
You suddenly wake up. It's 4:00 in the morning, so no one else will be awake. You take a look at yourself in your mother's bed, and notice something strange.
