The Cestus, the Enchanted Girdle of Aphrodite

People might wonder why the bra was kept in a lock box, heavily chained, hidden in the Aphrodite Cabin at Camp Half-Blood. This was because few people knew that Aprhodite's Magical Girdle wasn't a belt worn on the waist but one worn around the bust. A bra in other words.

Known as the Cestus, legend had it it could enflame love and desire. Especially sexual desire. It could grant the user ultimate Amoskinesis, or the ability to control and manipulate love. Any love from sexual, friendship, admiration and so on. As well as hatred and loathing by removing love. It could even dominate the gods, including Aphrodite, as love like fate were the few powers to dominate even their power.

As such, it also granted the power of Ultimate Charmspeak to the wearer. Normal Charmspeak, a type of hypnosis or persuasion, could allow the user to convince others to do as the user wishes. Skill, tone and emotions power it. A gift to the Children of the Goddess of Love, magic users could learn it. It eventually wears off and the victim forgets it. It can be negated or diminished by things like gold, or those with strong wills or drives, weak against those who know it was being used or other charmspeakers, those of the same gender or beings of chaos.

The Ultimate Form the Cestus provided had no weakness, could affect anyone, and could last in the victims mind for an indefinate period. Which is why it was both desired and feared.

The Cestus itself had changed, like the Cap of Invisibility. Where the latter now looked like a Baseball cap, the former looked like a bra from Frederick's. It could change sizes, styles and colours to compliment the user. Allowing for many uses with outfits and styles.
