The Center Path

Again, I decided to just walk straight ahead. Again, no point in complicating anything since I wasn’t given any indication of what I would be facing. Before I started down the path, I struck a pose and spoke. “Nice try Gold, but it will take more than that to take me down.” I then strode confidently down the hall. Though I was nervous about what would happen next, a part of me was excited. As messed up as it sounds, I did get a thrill from cheating death like that. I shook these thoughts from my head however. I didn’t need to be thinking like this.

As I entered into the next room, I found yet another empty room. Again, proceeding with caution, I made my way to the center of the room. Thankfully, there was no glass this time. I wonder what was going to happen this time. As if Gold could hear my thoughts, I figured it out. Water started flowing into the room. It didn’t take long for me to figure out what was happening. The water was slowly filling the room and if I didn’t figure something out now, I was going to drown. I frantically looked for a way out but I couldn’t find anything. The water was already up to my waist. How the hell was I going to get out of this!!!
