Chapter 3 by Coy-toy Coy-toy

Who are you?

The Catboy Theo

As a cat neko, you dealt with a lot of prejudice in the city. Many of the citizens saw cat nekos as nothing more than theifs and vagrants, the bottom runge of civilized races. You tried to never be ashamed of your race, but as many of your fellow nekos were **** to thievery to survive it was sometimes difficult. Your slim androgynous frame was complimented with large brown ears matching your shaggy brown hair, and a long fluffy brown tail poked out before your thin ass.

You were wearing a very old set of leather armor, though it could barely called armor. As your mentor was a female neko, she had lent you the first set of armor she had ever owned, and it was made to accentuate such a frame. It just covered your upper chest, shoulders, groin and ass. Your midriff was fully exposed, as well as your arms and legs. You carried five daggers, one large recurve on your hip and four small throwing daggers hanging in various quick to reach places.

Heading into the adventurers guild, you head up to the counter. “Um.... hello?” You meekly day to the receptionist.

The lady, a tall elvin woman in a bar maid outfit, looked up from her paperwork. “Yes?” She asked gruffly.

“Um, yes. I am here to register.” You try to put up a confident bravado.

“Here is the paperwork, register your skills, and you will begin as a porcelain rank.” She said with a monotone, obviously not for the first time.

You begin to fill out the skill set. You register as a rouge, as it was the closest to your skills. You marked Lockpicking, knife, stealth, and some midrange skills. It mostly fit your skill set, though unlike many rouges you had no real tracking or foraging skills that would apply outside a city. Filling it all out, you turn it in and head to the board.

You were thankful for the reading lessons you received from your mentor, or this would all be gibberish to you. The board is filled with papers detailing quests for all adventuring ranks, though the quality of the paper each was on dipped with the level of adventurer needed. Some were constantly needed quests, funded by the taxpayers to keep monster or critter levels in check. These went from simple rat hunting in the sewers to clearing out local forests. There were also time specific quests for your novice level however, including guarding trade caravans and parties requesting adventurers with certain skill levels to help on dungeon dives. Some parties requested members of lower ranks either so they could split a lower percentage of the loot, or simply to use as extra peons to throw at a problem. Though on the time specific requests, you see many have requirements on races, not allowing those that are seen as uncivilized or chaotic in nature.

What adventure do you chose?
