Who are they? Or. what's inside the room?

The Cabinet

All six were dressed in an identical simple white cotton smock which covered them from the shoulders to the knees. No shoes, and as Jane, one of the strangers found out when she looked, nothing beneath the smocks either. Apart from the six strangers, three men and three women, the bright white room was completely empty.

One of the others spoke. A gruff looking man, broad shouldered and unshaven. 'I'm guessing from your faces none of you know how you got here either? I'm Frank.'

A woman, a redhead, started to reply but was interrupted by a loud mechanical noise coming from the centre of the room. A circular panel rose slowly from the floor, which appeared to be a display cabinet of some sort, with closed doors all the way round.

The strangers stood in a circle watching the panel lift until the top was at head height, then it stopped. With a soft click all the doors sprung open at once and the strangers gasped. Inside the cabinet was an array of chains, handcuffs, whips and various sex toys.
