Chapter 3
by Closer11
What information is important?
The Building Darla entered
You take a sip of your whiskey. "According to some of his men, Darla entered a building, but when they entered the building after her she was nowhere to be found. The building was used as a bed and breakfast. More importantly, none of the people in the building had seen Darla." Margret nods, deep in thought. "That's impossible. Something about the scenario isn't correct. I think someone is lying here." You put your drink down on the table next to you. "But who would be the mole here? Darla... the watchers?" you ask. Margret shakes her head. "I think her father isn't being completely truthful. If you ask me, Darla was getting too loose lipped and he decided to get rid of her."
You raise a questioning eyebrow. "That's very pessimistic of you. I think it's more likely she was in danger. How else do you explain him hiring a private investigator, unless he wants it to be known to the world his daughter was suddenly gone! We can't really go in there and question mr. Ravioli right now either." That would probably be game over, you think to yourself. "Let's do some digging on Darla and the relationship to her father before we go accusing people." you assure Margret.
