The Bravos adjust to the darkness

It was dark, far darker than the cave had been thus far, even {MDR} was shocked at it upon her return. The chill, too, from the lack of light. They knew were each other were, from the breathing. Heightened from entering the darkness. And another noise, the gnolls. It was unmistakable, a stampede of footsteps approached until they could be heard on the other side of the wall. The gnolls reminded the Bravos of a fate they were seconds away from. They waited in the dark until the gnolls could be heard returning deeper in to the cave, and then some.

"What is this" Emmaline laughed.

"I would suspect we're underground." Fuu was rapidly adapting to the situation.

"Before we continue, I think that you should not look ahead. It's where I saw the visions. I strongly advise caution." {MDR} felt confident now that she could return here with back up, and with indisputable proof of whatever she saw.

"True, but we are prepared." Fuu smirked, and chanelled a light through her glaive. Emmaline followed suite and summoned a will o' the wisp that burned in an orbit around them. The light was dazzling, but nearly innefective. Fuu's torch shone no further than her face. For the others, they could only see one another when the circling flame passed them by.

"This is unusual." Emmaline said what everyone was thinking. "There!" She pointed to the dark side of the room, where the darkness remained even with the light sources. It swallowed them, and remained eternally dark.

"Don't stare at it!" {MDR} shouted. Emmaline caught herself. It had lulled her in in less than a second. The Bravos continued staring msotly infront of their feet.

"How deep is it?" Fuu asked.

"I don't know. Time. Time sort of passed and I couldn't tell" Becky confessed.

"With no end in sight, we're going to need to move faster." The leader told her team as she began to run.
