The Boys

The drop off of Emma and Grace and their luggage proceeded normally, and soon after, the boys got back into the vehicle and were speeding off onto the main road in no time. Christopher took the place of Emma in the shotgun seat of the SUV.

"Ugh finally, I'd hate if we were spending all night just unloading their things," Chris opined.

"You said it," Thomas responded. "Gotta remind Emma not to take the whole wardrobe. We're only going to be here for a short time."

"Yeah, I'll do the same for Grace next time." Chris leans back in the seat and stretches his arms. "Can't wait to reach your house so I can have a cold one and hit up the phone for the game tonight."

"Oh yeah that's gonna be on! I'll ask my family if they can stream it on the big telly then." Thomas shifts in his seat with a smile on his face. "But I think your team is gonna lose tonight."

"Nuh uh! Your team is still missing that key player still recovering from his hamstring injury. That ring a bell, genius?"

"No, quite the contrary! Cause your team's point getting ability..."

Thomas and Christopher continued to argue for the remainder of the roughly 20 minute drive. After reaching the Thomas family house, Tom's family came out to greet the two and helped bring their belongings inside.

While the move in proceeded as smoothly as Emma and Grace's move in had with Emma's family, there was overall something off about the town that Thomas couldn't exactly put his finger on.
