The Boss's Daughter

Gerard Richardson spent years studying his craft. He went to the finest culinary arts school then tutored under top chefs, and finally got his own restaurant thanks to a wealthy backer.

Gerard's restaurant received rave revues for it's upscale Mediterranean cuisine using only the finest farm fresh ingredients. The restaurant made money after a break-even first year, and it had a regular clientele.

Then disaster seemed to happen. Gerard's wealthy backer had a daughter. A spoiled brat who dropped out of college after one year, failed to make it big as an influencer and was driving her dad crazy lazing around the house all day, so he told her she could be in charge of "his" restaurant.

Mallory van Derslotz breezed into the restaurant one day and looked around. She marched into the kitchen as the chef was going over the night's menu. "This place is boring. We are going to liven things up with a DJ and a younger group of customers. Daddy did tell you I'm in charge now, right?"

Gerard was stunned then angry then relaxed. He had a special ingredient he had been saving for some time, but his moral, ethical nature had kept him from using it, but now, the time was right.
