Chapter 4

Where does Bell go next?

The Bookshop.

Bell thanked his lucky stars that The Baker didn't pick up on his increasing arousal, but by the time he managed to get away from the hunky cook, he was flustered up a storm when he got to the bookshop--when he stopped in his tracks. "You're not the usual bookkeeper..."

He was a short, muscular young man a bit older than Bell, but a head shorter. He smirked, his confidence a lot taller than his body. "That's my Grandpa. He's in the back." The Bookkeeper's Grandson looked Bell up and down. Bell recognized the look in his eyes, and blushed.

"I'm here to return this," Bell held out the book to the grandson. He took it, letting their hands touch a bit too long. Despite himself, the guy's charm sent blood down to Bell's groin.

"I hope it's not overdue," the grandson flirted. "I'd hate to ask for a fee." He adjusted his crotch.

"It's not late," Bell rolled his eyes, covering his arousal with feigned annoyance. "Have you got anything new?"

"I dunno," the grandson shrugged. "I just got here. You want me to ask Gramps?"

Does Bell want to him to?
