Chapter 9 by Ragnockae136 Ragnockae136

What's next?

The Blackfyre Bride

Aegon Had Elected To Take Visenya Blackfyre To Wife, A Pragmatic If Slightly Controversial Decision. Aegon Did Not However, Go In Blind, He Was Well Aware That Whilst He Had Been Spearing Lyanna, Visenya's Brother Had Been Spearing Her. So He Had Called A Tourney, and Arranged It So The Brother Would Be Paired Against Ser Gregor Clegane, A **** Sentence If Ever There Was One. He Had Also Made Sure Gregor's Lance Was Altered To Ensure A Lethal Result Once Gregor Made Contact With The Blackfyre Boy's Armor. So This Was How It Came To Be That Aegon In All His Glory Was Having A Nice Little Night With His Blackfyre Bride, Who Was Fucking As A Way To Cope With Her Grief. The Fact Aegon and Her Brother Shared The Same Name Made It Somewhat Easier For Her, Most Likely. It Also Didn't Hurt That He Fit Perfectly Inside Visenya. With Aegon Blackfyre Removed From Play, Aegon Targaryen Could Breath Easier and Sleep Easier Still. But He Apparently Underestimated How Much She Cared For Her Brother, Because Every Night Since Her Brother's Funeral, She Had Cried When They Were Abed. It Was Getting To Aegon, and He Was Nearing His Breaking Point.

Aegon Sat Straight Up, His Body Intertwined With Visenya's, Joined At Their Mid-Sections, Aegon Held Her In A Firm, Yet Tender Embrace. "You Are Mine Visenya, You Are My True Queen, Know This, Because Any Who Join Us With Crowns, Come Second To You, and Not Before You. I Will Make You Happier Than You've Ever Been, This, This I Swear To You." Says Aegon, and Visenya's Already Quietened Sobs Die Down Completely Until She Begins To Get More Involved With Her Promised Husband. "Will I Ever Truly Be Happy?" Asks Visenya. "No Matter What It Takes, I Will Make Your Life Better Than It Ever Was Before." Says Aegon, and Visenya Kisses Him Deeply.

As She Kisses Him, She Realises Something, Aegon, Not Her Aegon, But This Aegon, Is Her One True Husband and Destined Man. Her Brother's **** Hurt, and She Grew Dead Inside Her Heart. But These Last Few Nights With The King Had Slowly Been Pushing Her Grief Aside, and Reawakening Her Passions and Lusts. She Didn't Know If She Would Ever Stop Loving Her Brother Like She Had, But She Knew One Thing For Certain, This New Aegon, Was Hers.......

Aegon Was Looking Over Family Tree's With Stannis, Tyrion, and Varys. "We've Narrowed It Down To A Smaller Select Few. Lady Margaery, Lady Sansa, Princess Arianne, and........" Says Varys, Trailing Off. "Well?" Asks Aegon. "Lady Yara Of House Greyjoy Has Put Forth Her Name As Well." Says Tyrion. "Well, That's Unexpected." Says Aegon, Sipping His Wine Before Turning To Stannis. "Pro's and Con's Of The Tyrell Girl?" Asks Aegon. "Lady Margaery Is A Great Beauty, But She Isn't Vain, Nor Is She As Vindictive As My Sister-In-Law When Pushed. That Said, When She Makes Up Mind About Something, Very Few Can Dissuade Her, and Fewer Still Can Stop Her, She Is....In Many Ways, The New Queen Of Thorns." Says Stannis. "Sansa's Pro's and Con's?" Aegon Directs At Tyrion. "Lady Sansa Has Her Mother's Beauty, But Not Her Father's Spine, She Is Easily Frightened, and If Pushed, Timid and Cowardly." Says Tyrion. "Your Supposed To Be Giving Me Reasons To Marry Her, Not Give Her To You!" Says Aegon, As He Drains His Cup In Frustration, Before Having His Squire Refill It.

"More Arbor Milord?" Asks The Young and Oft-Considered Useless, Podrick Payne. "No, Dornish Red." Says Aegon. "Yes Milord." Says Podrick. "Not Much For Smarts Is He?" Asks Stannis. "No, But He's Loyal, Which Is More Than I Can Say For Most Would Be Knights These Days." Says Aegon. The Doors Suddenly Open and Ser Arthur Comes Bearing A Parchment, and Hands It To Aegon. He Takes A Look At The Seal, and Is Surprised To See The Baratheon Stag. "Well This Is Strange." Says Aegon. "What Is It?" Asks Tyrion. "A Seal With The Crowned Stag, Was This For Me?" Aegon Asks Ser Arthur. "Rider Claims Lord Baratheon Handed It To Him Personally." Says Ser Arthur. "Lord Baratheon? Those Were His Exact Words?" Asks Stannis. "Word For Word." Says Ser Arthur. "The Rider? Lowborn?" Asks Stannis. "No, He Was Lord Beric Dondarrion." Says Ser Arthur. "Lord Beric As A Rider? Said Rider Saying It's From "Lord Baratheon"? Why Do I Feel Like Something Has Happened At Storms End?" Asks Stannis, and Aegon Is Already Reading It At This Point. "Because Something Has.......Give Me That!" Says Aegon As He Takes The Wine From His Squire, and Throws The Letter Over To Stannis. "By The Gods......" Says Stannis As He Finishes Reading The Scroll, Before Rushing Out The Door.

Tyrion Waddles Over and Picks It Up, He Reads It, and Throws His Goblet Away and Mimics Aegon By Draining His Wine From The Source. "Lord Varys, Call The Banners. I Want Lord Stark, Lord Tyrell, Lord Tully, Lord Royce, Arianne and Quentyn, Lord Tywin, and A Representative Of Pyke In The Capital By The End of The Week. We're At War." Says Aegon., After Draining His Wine Skin, Before Departing.

Aegon Sat In At The Table In The Throne Room As The Lords He'd Requested Debated, Squabbled, and Bickered Like Horny Teenagers. Aegon Took An Empty Goblet and Tossed It Across The Table. The Lords Quietened Down and Soon Enough They All Shut Up As The Goblet Smashed After Reaching The End Of The Table and Falling Off It. "We Are At War, Lord Robert Baratheon Has Declared Himself The New Storm King and Raised His Banners, Less Than Half Of Whom Actually Answered. Lord Tywin, Your Position On The Matter?" Asks Aegon. "Robert Is A Drunken Oaf Who Should Be Put Down Like A Rabid Dog!" Says Tywin Bluntly. "Lord Stark, You Have A Month To Reason With Him, If He Refuses To Back Down, He Will Be **** To Submit, and He Will Be Executed For Treason, As My Father Should Have Done Long Ago." Says Aegon. "Thank You Your Grace." Says Lord Stark As He Bows and Departs.

"March On Storms End, Starve Him Out. Only Engage If Robert Attacks First, But Even Then, Defend Yourselves Only, I Want It To Be A Bloodless Siege. Lord Tywin March Your Own Army Ahead Of Ours and Pretend To Support Robert. If He Hasn't Backed Down In A Month, We'll Storm The Castle, At Which Point Your Men Will Have Excised The Infection, Secured Lord Robert and Ensured That Beautiful Granddaughter Of Yours Is Safe and Protected." Says Aegon As He Looks Over At Robert's Brothers. "Lord Stannis, Can I Count On You To Ensure That Baratheon Casualties Are Minimal?" Asks Aegon. "Of Course, Your Grace." Says Stannis. "Then Let Us Prepare For The Coming Fight, Lord Tyrell, You Will Lead Your Forces To Besiege Stroms End Once More, But Unlike The Last Time, Should Robert Refuse To Yield, You Will Storm The Castle, and Speak Nothing Of This To Lord Stark, His Honor Could Undermine Our Whole Strategy. For Now, While We Lay Siege, We'll Need Someone To Lead The Coming Fight Against The Few Houses Who Answered Robert's Call. Quentyn, I'm Entrusting This Duty To You." Says Aegon. "Of Course Aegon." Says Quentyn. "You Will Lead An Army Of Ten Thousand Dornish Warriors Backed Up By The Might Of The Vale and Riverlands and Ensure That The Price For Disloyalty Is Swift and Immediate Before Anything Else." Says Aegon As He Gets Up And Draws Blackfyre. "Now Then, Let Us Show Robert That Targaryen Mercy For His Continued Rebellions Are At It's End." Says Aegon, and One By One The Lord's Draw Their Steel and Place It In The Center Of The Table.

The....?
