The Bishop/Woodsen Hangout

The next week on Wednesday, after the school day ended, Zack was at his locker getting his books that he needed for homework when someone came up behind him and wrapped their arms around him. He couldn’t take the smile off of his face because he knew who it was right away.

“Hey baby. How was your day?” Heather asked as Zack turned around in her arms and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.

“Not bad. How about yours?” Zack asked his brunette girlfriend.

“It was great. I am headed off to cheer practice now.” Heather said.

“Yeah. I will be here when you get done. Tonight is going to be the second Bishop/Woodsen hangout and Ashley wanted me to pick her up.” Zack said with a smile.

“I am so glad that you and Ashley are trying to get close again. It doesn’t hurt that she is into you as well.” Heather said.

“I still don’t know about that, but if she is, I won’t argue with that either.” Zack said.

“Just keep an eye on it tonight. Now that you know what to look for it will be obvious.” Heather said.

“I will do that. I hope I do see what you see though. I wouldn’t mind Ashley being into me. She is hot anyway.” Zack said.

“I bet. I wouldn’t mind her joining us as well. Is that something you would be up for?” Heather asked.

“Having two beautiful girlfriends. Who wouldn’t want that?” Zack asked.

“That’s what I thought. I can see things heading that way.” Heather said.

“I will take your word for it. Hey, has Paris talked to you about the sleepover this weekend?” Zack asked.

“Yeah. It should be fun. I am looking forward to fucking you in your bed.” Heather said.

“That is definitely going to happen. I am sure we will find other fun things to do with everyone else that is there too.” Zack said.

“Yes we will. Well, I better go. I don’t want to be late for practice. I will see you when you get here to pick Ashley up.” Heather said as she gave her boyfriend a good kiss filled with passion this time.

Zack was stunned into silence by her doing that to him in the middle of the school but it should have surprised him. He finished getting everything that he needed to go home and then left the school heading home for a few hours.

At five that afternoon, Zack was back at school waiting for his girlfriend and friend to come out of the locker room after their practice. Of course with it being Heather they were the last two to come out. Both of the girls saw his car and walked that way. Zack got out of the car to meet them.

Heather was the first to make it to Zack and she gave him a kiss and then pulled back to let the friendly blonde behind her give her boyfriend a hug. Ashley held the hug for a bit longer than was necessary and because of seeing this, Heather looked at Zack and smiled. It was a small thing but, if things kept happening like this today, Zack knew that his old friend was interested in him. He couldn’t help but smile at this thought.

“So, are you ready to go?” Zack asked Ashley, who smiled and went to get in the passenger seat of his car.

Zack then turned to his girlfriend and brought her into a kiss. “I will keep an eye on things and see if what you say is true. I will talk to you later. Bye, babe.” Zack said

“Bye, baby.” Heather said as she gave Zack one last kiss and then went to get into her car so that she could head home.

Zack got into his car and then turned to his friend. “So, what do you want to do today?” Zack asked.

“I don’t really care. Just as long as we get to hangout. That’s all that matters to me.” Ashley said.

“What do you say to going to Sapphire Square and we can just walk around and hangout. We can talk and look at all of the beauty that is there.” Zack said.

“I like that idea. Let’s head there.” Ashley said and Zack pulled the car out of the school parking lot making his way to the small park-like area in the middle of town.

When the two 18 year olds arrived in the middle of town, Zack parked the car and the two friends got out and walked over to Sapphire Square. They were quiet for a while just looking at the beauty in the area. Ashley was the first one to break the silence.

“So, how are things going with you and Heather?” Ashley asked.

Zack couldn’t help but smile at his friend's question for two reasons. One was that he was very happy with Heather and he wanted to show that. Two was that he heard a hint of jealousy in his friend's question. “It is going great. I don’t know if I have ever felt anything like this before.” Zack said.

“That’s great. I hope I can find something like that for myself one day.” Ashley said with a smile on her face.

“I know you will. You just have to be open to it.” Zack said.

He was seeing more and more how Ashley was into him the more that they talked on this day and he knew that if she opened herself up to being with him and Heather that she would be very happy.

“So, how is cheer practice going with Heather in charge? I bet she and Sharon butt heads a lot.” Zack said.

“They do okay. They do get into it at some points, but it hasn’t been too bad so far. I love Sharon to ****, but that girl needs to lighten up a bit. She can be such a bitch sometimes.” Ashley said.

“Yeah, I don’t think Sharon likes the fact that Heather and I are dating. Everytime I see her she says something to the effect of " I am not good enough for Heather.” Zack said.

“Don’t worry about her. Once she gets to know you better, she will see that she is wrong about you.” Ashley said.

“I don’t know about that, but I guess we will see. I think she is supposed to come over for the sleepover this weekend.” Zack said.

“Oh yeah. She is. I am looking forward to that. I will get to hangout with you and all of our other friends as well.” Ashley said.

“Yeah, I think it is going to be fun. I just hope we don’t get into too much trouble.” Zack said and Ashley gave him a look like she was appalled.

“Me, get into trouble. I don’t think so.” Ashley said with the same face before she couldn’t hold the smile back any longer as both of the friends had a big laugh at that.

“Oh please, I know that you have a devil inside of you somewhere. I have heard about something you have done over the years from both your mom and Heather. Even from your sister, so don’t try to pull that shit on me.” Zack said with a smile.

“Okay, you got me. I haven’t done anything that a normal high schooler hasn’t though.” Ashley said.

“No you haven’t. Nothing has been bad enough to get you thrown in jail or anything.” Zack said.

“I am trying to keep things that way too. I have no interest in going to jail. Plus, I have enough to do to make sure that Heather doesn’t do something that could get herself thrown into jail.” Ashley said with a smile.

“I am sure you have to work really hard on that. I know one thing for sure, my girlfriend is a bit wild.” Zack said.

“No kidding. You know, I was skeptical about your relationship at first, but then I have seen you together a few times and I see how it works. She brings you out a bit and you ground her a bit. It is a nice dynamic that you have going on there.” Ashley said.

“I thought the same thing when she first started flirting with me, but I thought about it and I was like, Maybe I should give it a try. I did and it seems to be working for now.” Zack said.

“Yeah, it does. I am happy for the two of you. You both look happy.” Ashley said.

“We are. So, are you interested in anyone right now?” Zack asked, seeing if his fishing would draw out anything from his friend.

“I do have a guy that I am interested in. I don’t think that he is interested though. It is kind of a complicated situation.” Ashley said.

“Well, the only thing that I can tell you is that you won’t know unless you try. Put yourself out there and things might work out for you and him.” Zack said.

“I might take your advice on that, but I am not sure yet. I don’t want to get embarrassed.” Ashley said.

“I doubt you will. You are a smart and beautiful girl. I can’t see a guy turning you down.” Zack said, which brought a beaming smile to the blonde’s face.

“Thanks for saying that. I need to hear that kind of stuff every once in a while.” Ashley said.

“Not a problem. So, anything else you want to do this afternoon?” Zack asked.

“Nope, I am fine doing just what we are. It is fun getting to know you again.” Ashley said.

“I know. It has been a lot of fun the past two weeks. I hope we can keep it up.” Zack said and Ashley nodded as the two of them continued to walk around the square and talk for the next couple of hours really getting to know each other again.
