Chapter 49 by Akula
What's next?
The Bet
“A Game?”
“Yep. You have my attention, Kevin. So why don’t we make today more entertaining,” Simon declared with a smile, “Knowing you, Kev. You’re going to want to get some satisfaction out of this. I'm not going to deny you that, but why don’t we make this more interesting?”
Kevin’s eyebrow raised as he smirked darkly and ever more intrigued, “I’m listening...”
“I don’t think you give Jess enough credit, so here’s the name of the game....” Simon motioned to his genie, who looked back at him curiously while his hand continued to pet her on the ass, “I bet that Jess can go the whole day in there without breaking down and asking to go home….”
“What?” she gasped out in surprise.
“…And not only will she make it, Kev, I bet she can do it over you not cumming more than five times before school lets out”
Kevin scoffed in embarrassed disbelief, “What? C’mon Simon! What do you think I have planned in there…”
“I’m sure we’ll find out, won’t we?”
The spectacle-wearing nerd laughed before shaking his head in stunned acceptance, “All right, so what are we playing for?”
“The winner gets Tiffany, to do whatever you want with”
Kevin laughed again, “Ah, so, I'm assuming...”
“Since you haven’t gotten to her yet, we’ll make her off-limits until we have a winner”
“And I assume that our pact for my amulet still applies?”
“Yep.”
“Alright, but here’s my terms. You can’t wish your **** out of any of her classes or practice after school. Your **** has to attend and participate in every class with every teacher and classmate she would've done anyway, without even a bathroom break to get out of them. And if you wind up wishing for her to change classes or switch, that counts as a loss. She can only leave if the class gets dismissed or the bell rings. Got it?”
Jessica whimpered, her eyes like saucers as she stared at Simon red-faced.
Her Master reached out his hand to shake Kevin's, “Fair enough.”
________________________________________
“I wish my locker was switched with the locker to the right of yours.”
Jessica let out another stifled moan as Simon went about entering the combination to his new locker and preparing himself for battle. He looked back to see Jessica’s Emerald eyes pleading with him as she stood staring at the locked door in front of her in silence. Her head bowed as a frown formed on her face.
Simon sighed as he grabbed his tablet and unloaded his charging gear, placing his headphones around his neck.
“You’re upset with me, then?”
The genie shook her head as she sighed, speaking softly, “No, I understand why, Master. I just….”
Simon glanced over to where she was looking behind them, seeing the students muttering and whispering among themselves while pointing and looking at the cheerleader. Jessica slumped her shoulders in defeat as she reached for her locker to open the door.
“Yesterday, I was trying to keep it all together, and today I’m looking at being torn to shreds. I’ve been scared of losing everything, even if I know now it no longer matters. I hope enough people in the school decide not to....”
Luckily for her, her Master had noticed something different about her locker while she was speaking - he grabbed and yanked Jessica into his chest. The genie squealed as the door to her locker opened. A red balloon full of golden paint burst out the door and onto the floor in a puddle that nearly took her shoes and socks out.
Several students cried out and jumped away from the other side of the hallway as Jessica flinched and clenched down into the boy’s chest. She watched the paint drip from the door of her locker, shaken by the sudden pop of the balloon.
“H-How did….”
She could feel her Master’s chest against her back as he sighed in annoyance from behind. He knew the culprit almost immediately,
“Peter Edgars.”
“Peter?”
Peter Edgars was the resident prankster prince of Eastlake. He was born with one skill: practical jokes. Jessica even invited him to parties she hosted because he could make any event fun.
“B-But I didn’t….”
Bully him? Yeah, Simon knew that, too.
“It doesn’t matter, Jess. Remember what I said about the wolves? You’re the prey on the menu today... things are different now...”
Simon let his genie stay close as he opened the amulet’s app from his phone. The blonde stepping over the puddle of paint to see her locker hadn’t had everything ruined inside. She looked down again and let out a soft whine, making the young man’s heart twist.
Okay, Kevin, what the hell have you been up to...
The App that Simon had made in conjunction with the amulet tracked everything and anything related to it. The navigation bar on the left had now become much more prominent, and the tabs on the screen now included entire chart fields.
Simon wasted no time in trying to sift through everything in his collection, trying to get as much up to speed as possible. Selecting collective navigation bars and sorting the population, and getting a timeline recap of events.
Jessica was frowning and sadly staring at her locker and coming to terms with the fact she was now the target of payback pranks. The balloon would most likely be just the opening salvo of her day - had it not been for Simon's new game she was about ready to go home already.
They both knew that his Spanish Teacher and her Cheerleading Coach, Miss Peralez, was the first one to be exposed to the power they had imbued into the item... So that meant Simon had an interesting first period ahead...
“Kevin’s been busier than we have,” he informed the curious and nervous genie, “He changed the whole Myers household and himself before coming here and changing the staff.”
"Changed?" Jess probed, her heart racing. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know what he'd changed.
Simon shook his head as he read over the changes to the teaching staff..
“Ah, Kev. Unconventional but totally predictable...”
“The entire school staff has turned into women,” he announced, “All of them are now younger than 35.”
Jessica’s eyes widened in horror as her face paled, and she began babbling incoherently at the idea of all of her teachers, “Y-You mean like r-re-replaced or like….”
“No, I mean, they're all young, attractive female-versions of themselves. Here, see for yourself, Mr. McCarthy is right there.”
Simon pointed to an attractive woman walking past some of the students down the hall, her bare and shapely legs barely covered by the tweed skirt and matching tweed jacket that looked like something straight out of the movie Clueless.
Jessica’s eyes shot back at her Master, unable to unsee it.
“I’m doomed.”
Simon sighed again and shook his head, looking at the ceiling, “You are not doomed.”
“How? You know he’s going to come after me, Master. Wh-What if he exposes me?”
“He won’t expose you, remember? He can’t do anything to you directly... I made it that way,” Simon responded before pulling the genie back into his embrace, “Jess, you’ve got this. What can anyone do to you that you won’t be able to handle?”
She pouted while her lower lip trembled; Simon shut his eyes and sighed again. She had been through a lot the last few days. However, it was hard to forget how scared Jessica could become when faced with some specific situations,
“I don’t want to be the bitch anymore, Master. I hate it.”
“Then don’t be.”
It didn’t have to be as complicated as her fear made it out to be.
“You have me here, remember?” he reminded her mentally, pressing gently on the emerald in the center of the gold choker. “If things become that hard, I’ll tell you what to do to get out of it, okay?”
His voice reassured her as she looked down at her feet and nodded again,
“Yes, Master.”
“It’s okay if you’re not going to have a normal day...”
Simon reached down and stroked the satin underneath her skirt for reassurance and stroked her face with the thumb of his other hand, “Besides, Jess, this might actually work out well for us. Like training.”
“Training?” the genie asked, confused.
Simon nodded and looked between them, then began speaking mentally as other students glanced at the two of them as they passed by.
“I need to be a better Master for you, and we know there are things going on outside school that no one else does, not even Kevin. Remember what you told me in Sam’s car? My job is to protect you, learn whatever I can, and be your Master.”
He made sure she kept focused, pulling her body into his until she was off her feet and left staring straight up at him.
“Your job now isn’t to pretend nothing happened. Your mission today is to do as I command as my genie. You will prove me right to my friend, you will protect those we care about by any means and defeat all obstacles put in your way as Queen of Eastlake, and you will prove to those that challenge you or me that you are MY obedient genie.”
“You will obey me on this, Jess. Do you understand?”
The blonde's eyes widened as her cheeks flushed with anxious excitement, “Yes, Master,” she purred softly, “I’ll obey.”
Her breath was hot, and she felt like she was ready to catch fire against him at any moment. Before he could react, her soft pink lips made contact with his, pulling him into a passionate and lingering kiss. Simon felt his cheeks flare up as well as a result of his genie’s actions.
“You’re really good at giving me a pep talk, Master,” she purred breathlessly as she broke their embrace.
“You know how much I love you. It might be different for you, but you know I’ll never let anything bad happen to you on my watch, right?”
“Mhm!” she smiled brightly and with an emphatic nod, placing her feet back on the ground as she tried to salvage what she could from her locker.
“I’m still not sure how I’m going to get through this whole day without you next to me every minute, Master. I don’t want to be away from you...”
He reached out and grabbed her hand, motioning to walk her to her first class in front of everyone. The Queen of Eastlake High School, a target painted on her back, was walking to class holding her boyfriend’s hand.
That raised a few eyebrows and started plenty more conversations among groups of teenagers remarking and rushing to class among themselves.
Okay, how many more people could he shock with this one?
Jessica looked back, confused as she stood in front of the door to her biology class when her Master pulled her in for another quick make-out session. His tongue entered his genie’s mouth, tasting her once more. The blonde made a surprised squeak at his sudden possessive move before she eventually melted and moaned in the awkward boy’s arms again.
“I’ll see you soon, my love.”
Yeah, he had to give her one final dose of that corny line and one final motion with the palm against her panties to guide her inside the classroom. The blush growing on Jessica’s face as her eyes fogged over, and she quietly entered her class without a word, only a longing look back over her shoulder.
Jessica melted into her chair next to her best friend with a sad smile and red cheeks.
She missed Simon already, and they'd been apart for barely twenty seconds. Master’s kiss lingered on her lips, the lost feeling of his tongue owning her mouth, his commanding hand that stroked and possessed her ass with care. The morning shower, the gardens, the goldsmith, gelato, art galleries, fucking in the gardens, and all to return here... She glanced over to her best friend bashfully.
“That was different,” Sam remarked still trying to process the sight of Jessica and Simon kissing in the doorway.
“It was perfect,” the blonde remarked softly to the redhead, “I wish I didn’t have to come back from it...”
“Where’d you two go, anyway?”
Jessica’s eyes glanced over to see Sam uncharacteristically leaning in interest by one of her dates. The only time the redhead seemed curious. Her voice spoke softly as the genie stared at her in confusion.
“What?”
“This is usually the part where you babble about it to me. Share details that I don’t want to hear? Hello? Earth to Jessica? You just went on a date with my fucking brother? Aren’t you going to brag to me about it? You just called your date with him ‘perfect’ in front of me!”
The blonde smiled softly and then brightly at Sam, “Simon knows what I like, Sammy... we uh .. we just... we went...”
“Hey, Sam,” a familiar and unwanted voice spoke up, interrupting them and ruining the genie’s happy mood.
Kevin leant in as he sat directly behind the genie and eyed her best friend with a pleasant smile, “You don’t happen to remember what the lesson for today is, do you?”
Jessica felt her shoulders slump. Right, there again was the reminder that every first period she was stuck in the same class as her tormentor. Sam growled, annoyed by the reminder as well, as she became the blonde’s protector again.
“Damnit, Kevin, you ass! Listen! If you need to ask me before class, then ask, but you need to stay away from Jess. Got it?”
The nerd sighed, annoyed as he made a show of slumping in his chair behind the genie, “Don’t worry, I’m not looking to pick any fights with my best friend’s uh... girlfriend... I just forgot where we ended class yesterday. Just tell me where we left off and I'll leave you alone!”
Jessica watched as her friend rolled her eyes and sighed in frustration, “Reproduction among mammals and animal hierarchy.”
Jessica winced, that didn't sound right.
“Ah yeah, that’s right,” Kevin nodded and smiled with delight, his eyes boring into Jessica with unspoken meaning, “Thanks, Sam!”
Fuck.
Jessica’s mood shifted; he wanted her to know what the lesson plan was for today - he wanted to twist the knife... Because moments later, the opening phase of her day entered the room..
The old Mrs. Cooper was gone. Her salt-and-pepper colored hair and haggard body, had been replaced with a fantasy only a teenage boy could concoct. Now no older than her thirties, the brunette woman strode confidently into room with the noticeable clack of stiletto heels, her stern face adorned with black eyeliner and cherry red lipstick. The classroom’s inhabitants jumped out of their skin as the teacher smacked the table in front of her with a the prop in her hands.
Jessica blushed and shrunk inside herself. Mrs. Cooper wore a tight white lab coat that she let open at the lower buttons to reveal the split-open leather miniskirt with fishnet stockings that rode up her bare legs. Her breasts were held back by the buttons of the lab coat with a noticeable black item covering her from underneath, but her hands drew focus as she bent the riding crop in her palms. The new and eager Mrs. Cooper looked ready to determine which student would be the first to test her.
“Class. Today’s lesson is on Dominance Hierarchy.”
She licked her lips and eyed her students, making the genie look down immediately at her desk with her eyes wide.
“Shall we begin?”
________________________________________
Simon huffed as he slid into the door to Spanish class. He placed his backpack down to the side of his desk and slumped into his seat. How much did he really need to carry in his bag? Sheesh.
The sound of a familiar voice caught his attention as she gasped out in excitement, “H-Hi Simon!”
The young man slumped his body forward until landing on his desk face first. He allowed his body to draw for air as the sweat built up around his collar. His eyes opened to his left, and he glanced to see the blushing sight of the bubbly pixie girl in her seat beside him.
“Hey, Cassie,” he waved tiredly, “Don’t ever move your locker across the building...”
The bob-cut girl bounced her eyes in a confused look and then smiled, “Oh! Right, you have the locker next to Jessica now? Right?” She gasped in delight, “Now you’re closer to the rest of us!”
Okay, so that was one confirmed development, Retcon. Even if it was only yesterday, it appeared Cassie had been aware of the change. That would be useful for tracking and projecting what kind of effects Kevin’s wish-imbued talisman would unleash.
His eyes glanced up again as he saw the energetic young cheerleader squirming next to him, “S-So um…about…well, here!”
The suddenly shy cheerleader shoved a notebook into the young man’s chest,
“I took a lot of what you said, Simon, and it just, it was great! I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I had to plot it all out. And then I was just writing, and writing, and writing, and then I imagined all this cool stuff, and all the bad stuff – I think I spent way too much time reading and looking up more stuff online. I think I kept writing past eleven-thirty. My cat got a bit annoyed with me, too. I did have this one idea, though. Like there was this….”
Simon stopped following what the young woman was talking about and decided to place the notebook down. He flipped it open, and his eyes widened.
Cassie was detailed. Almost as detailed as he was.
“Wow, you really thought all of this out, Cass,” he acknowledged.
The pixie nodded and smiled as she continued bouncing in her seat, “This actually turned out to be really fun! So go ahead and look at it and tell me what you think, okay? I mean, it's just like, it's just a silly idea but... yeah .. it was fun to think about!”
The young man smiled at her and nodded, “Sure.”
Unfortunately, Cassie’s curiosity remained a forever constant. The cheerleader was leaning in and looking at the open application on his phone.
“Whoa, what’s that? Some kind of new game?”
Simon laughed nervously, “Y-Yeah, something like that. I’m still getting used to it.”
His eyes darted back down at the packet in front of him as he read through it. Cassie was just a thorough as Jess had claimed she was. Knowing how Jessica viewed people in her clique, the young brunette must’ve been the one to keep track of everything for the squad. He read through the pages as he saw how much thought the young woman put into her ideal what-if fantasy of what she classified as “Homo-Felidae” and the history behind them.
Something called back to him as he continued reading, and he wondered to himself. His hand was reaching for the broken piece of metal dangling around his torso.
“Hm. I wonder…”
Simon’s hazel eyes looked back curiously to Cassie, who kept smiling at him unabated. He then glanced around and scribbled a few notes down onto each page, and handed the packet back.
“It’s awesome, Cass. I really like how you incorporated history and backstory elements for the whole family tree and stuff, but um,” he looked at the ceiling as he took a deep breath and tried to figure out how to put it. “I’m actually working on something involving a Jinn and genie, though, so um, do you think you could add something about that? I made a few suggestions.”
The young woman nodded, “Yeah-Sure!”
Cassie giggled as she stretched into her chair and read over his notes curiously with an interested smile.
Now he could get back to focusing on what he needed to do. Simon tapped on the screen and opened the various personal profiles and widgets. He hadn’t seen what Kevin had actually decided to do to Brad.
Nor had he really cared what happened to him. The only mention of Brad's name was from reading the alterations that Kevin had made to himself.
Kevin was the Omega out to make himself the Alpha. In the process, he gave himself the body and physical features he felt he deserved in that role. Simon knew what Kevin wanted. After all, they were friends, and Simon had to watch as Kevin fell deeper into the isolation and darkness that came with an abused and tortured soul. They were brothers in that regard.
However, Kevin wanted the power to crush those that had kept him in the dark. The Have-Not that would take and have everything. Kevin desired power and taking it from those who wielded it against him.
Taking power away from those that had abused it was appealing for Simon. Kevin with power was an interesting prospect to him, but therein lay the problem. Kevin was tunnel-visioned and ignored all the consequences.
That was always the case in the stories, wasn’t it? Simon thought.
Be careful what you wish for.
Why was that always the warning? The moral in the story involving anyone with a genie or jinn? Anyone who suddenly could wish for anything they wanted?
What if the thing you wanted wasn’t the thing you wished for, though? What if you wished for something to help achieve an objective?
Wishing for something you wanted was simple. Keeping it without falling apart was hard. But, of all the things Simon had spent the last weekend and day pouring through, that kept sticking out to him.
Where did that expression cone from? Who was the one warning men to stay away from the genie in all those stories? Why did those stories exist? What was the role of The Masters, Genies, and Men in informing those same events?
Now Simon would use his own school, his friend, his peers, and those around him as a testbed to find out. He wanted to see the power Jessica could have.
But Simon definitely wanted her to embrace herself, believe in herself fully, and also to teach his increasingly arrogant and reckless friend a lesson about power.
Simon's hazel eyes looked up along with the rest of his class as he heard the clacking of heels against the tiled floors of the classroom. The voluptuous and gorgeous form of his altered Spanish teacher entered the room in a tight gold cocktail dress with no back and a hem line that left very little to the imagination.
If Simon had to guess, the Cheerleading Coach also wasn’t wearing any underwear.
Senora Peralez smiled brightly and nervously to her first class.
“Buenos Diaz! Mi Amores!”
The woman blew out kisses across the classroom before her eyes made contact with his. Simon stared at her for a moment, seeing her face become nervous and flustered.
If Simon knew his opponent, he knew Kevin most likely would use her to keep him distracted from Jess...
He opened the app again and singled out his teacher, reading through her various changes.
“Okay, Kev, let the game begin.”
