The Best Laid Plans

Taylor parks the SUV in the lot and you grab the cables. You walk briskly to the lobby.

Taylor manages to provide a diversion by asking the girl at the desk to look at something. You leap over the desk duck down and place the cables.

You poke your head back up ready to leave. Taylor is gone. You leap from behind the desk, ready to sprint, when you feel a pin prick in your neck.

You reach your hand up and feel a small dart. Then the world goes black.

Your head throbs. Whatever room you are in is pitch black. Your arms feel heavy. You try to move them, but you can’t. You try again and realize they are tied,

“Taylor?”

No one answers.

Then the light goes on…
