The Bare Cub of Nagoya (Starring Karen Fukuhara)

The Bare Cub of Nagoya stars Karen Fukuhara as the twenty-six year old, over-confident, tough, and rude Nakatani Naomi. Naomi is the daughter of Nakatani Shuichi (Yujo Okumoto), a captain in the Shimabukuro Family (A yakuza organization). For his unwavering ferocity, Shuichi received the nickname, The Unyielding Bear of Nagoya. Though due to his tendency to spoil and be over protective of his daughter, Naomi received the nickname the Bear Cub of Nagoya, much to her dislike. Naomi wishes to prove that she doesn't need her father's protection, though due to the Yakuza being a male only organization, Naomi finds herself working with a small street gang, against her father's wishes. With Shuichi having many enemies, Naomi's gang constantly causing trouble, and The Cub of Nagoya herself being a magnet for bad luck; Naomi finds herself ending up buck naked every episode, truly earning the name Bare Cub of Nagoya.

Other characters include Sawaya Mamoru (Ryan Potter) a hotblooded trouble maker in Naomi's group, Nakazawa Toshio (Mackenyu) the most level headed and smartest member of the group, Higashi Shizuka (Jhené Aiko) Mamoru's girlfriend and self-proclaimed finest pickpocket in Nagoya, Ide Tatsuo (Miyavi) as a lone shark and The main antagonist of season's 1 and 2, Nakatani Hoshi (Tamlyn Tomita) Naomi's mother, and Shimabukuro Kichirou (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) the head of the Shimabukuro Family.
