The Awakens

After an extensive training session, John and the girls finally finished. The three all collapsed on the ground thanks to the fatigue they all had. John looked to his left and saw Yatina with her wings extended on the ground, her legs up in the air but off to the side, and her tail slowly sliding from side to side. It was as if she decided to go sunbathing and she looked adorable, especially with her tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth. He couldn’t help but smile at his dragon. He turned his head to the right and spotted his faithful servant Idena spread eagle, naked on the ground. John let out a chuckle at the sight. I forgot that Sunder Armor removed clothes. We’ll have to get her some more clothes, somehow. John thought as he noticed the blinking signal of achievements that he had received.

“Hmm, that’ll come in handy,” John said as he took out the dragon harness. It clearly was meant for when Yatina was bigger since the harness was as big as she currently was.

“Wait, did anyone else hear that?” John asked the girls, who both gave him a quizzical look as he shook them out of their peaceful sunbathing. John glanced at his experience bar and saw he was one experience point away from leveling. “You’re an asshole,” John muttered.

John looked over his notices for his leveled up moves and was happy for everything that had happened with this session. Yatina had leveled up to 4, learned some attacks, and Yatina’s moves had also seemed to level up according to his Observe on her. John got up and grabbed his phone from his inventory to look at the current time.

“Shit!” he exclaimed as he raced to the transportation room, with Idena and Yatina right behind him.

“What’s the matter, master?” asked his faithful harpy.

“I need to leave now if I’m gonna make it to June’s house in time!” he told her. The three quickly reached the room where John gave Idena a passionate kiss and Yatina gave him a happy lick and he transported back to his room to quickly shower, change, and got ready to leave.

John made his way outside and realized he actually had no easy way to get to June’s house. Thinking fast, he brought up the city’s bus schedule. He looked over the various routes and saw that he only had to change buses once to be able to get to June’s house. If the times were correct, that meant John would get to her house just in the nick of time. Better late than never! thought John as he quickly made his way to the bus stop. I wonder if Gaia would be cool if I rode Yatina around in the real world…

Well, that answers that question, thought John as the bus pulled up to the stop and opened its doors for John and his fellow travelers could enter. He saw an empty seat in the back and his first inclination was to head there but that’s when he saw a cute girl sitting by herself and figured that was a good place to sit.

“Hi, I’m John,” he said as he sat next to the girl, who he gave a quick look over. She had perfect bronzed skin, long brunette hair, and piercing green eyes. Her chest looked to be a modest B Cup if John had to hazard a guess.

“Hi, I’m Sarah. Nice to meet you,” she said in a polite, but firm tone, as if she knew John was ogling her body. Hmm, maybe if I gave you a dose of Arouse you’d be more…playful.. John thought as a wicked smile formed on his face as Sarah mumbled something.

Wait, what?! She used Jedi Mind Trick on me? Wait, Jedi are real?! thought John as his mind raced with this new information he had received. Not only did he just learn Jedi were real, but that she was attempting to mind control him. Wait, what if she’s part of the Abyss? Could Jedi be part of the Abyss? Is The **** really just space magic?

“Jedi real? **** part of Abyss?” John stumbled through, still surprised one of his favorite Sci-Fi series was actually real. Sarah’s face turned from one of confusion to one of shock after John’s diarrhea of words.

“Shhhh! Keep your voice down!” demanded the girl, who glared daggers at John. “Do you want the High Priestess to strike you down?!” Sarah questioned John.

“Who? Do you mean Gaia?” John answered her question with his own. She nodded.

“Yes, that’s what the newer magic users call her. But to us Jedi, she will always be the High Priestess of the Wellspring of Life,” she informed John, whose face was a mix of shock, excitement, and fear. “This is my stop, so if you’ll excuse me,” Sarah said as John is pushed from the seat and lands on his behind while Sarah steps over him and continues on her way. John slowly made his way up and sat back down in the seat. John made sure to cast Observe as Sarah left.

“Man, today is crazy,” John said to himself as he looked out the window to ponder on all he had learned so far today. “I was able to train my dragon, got closer to Idena, heard a prophecy, and apparently met a god damn Jedi.” John’s mind wondered to what those prophecies could mean. “The first line clearly refers to someone or something coming. But what does ‘from outside space’ mean? Like aliens from another galaxy? That’s gotta be it, right? What else would it mean?” John asked himself, making no sense of the first thing Idena said. “Let’s see the second part mentioned stars falling to a vengeful light and rising again. That’s clearly metaphor for two factions. But I have no idea what those factions could be. And the third part is about the stars apparently destroying the world. But could they even do that? Wouldn’t Gaia stop them? Is Gaia not all powerful?” John questioned. He shook his head at all this hypothetical thinking and prophecy guessing and decided to wait until Monday to ask Moira and Mrs. Wentworth. Maybe they both could give him different perspectives on the prophecy that could give him a fuller picture than just one side. He noticed that the bus had come to his stop as he finished his thoughts, so he got up, exited the bus, and made his way to the nearby bus stop for the other line that would take him near June’s house.
