"We have one large black iced tea and two Mocha Little Latte's for a 'Camilla'."

"That would be me."

Camilla -- a Latina woman with large hips and glasses -- came and picked up her drinks and brought them over to her table. The tea was in a plastic cup with a top and straw. The lattes were in a pair of bottles, the top being a screw-on with a sippy-nub that prevented spillage.

She handed both bottles to her companions, both accepting them excitedly as they sucked on their morning treat.

They were twins -- identical, though one was male and the other female -- and were sitting in an oversized stroller that kept both of them buckled in. They were both dark-skinned with dark hair and brown eyes. While he had a buzzcut, she had long hair that was tied in a pair of pigtails. They were shirtless, exposing his flat stomach and her modest breasts, though they both had bibs on. In place of pants or underwear, they were both dressed in poofy white diapers with Cookie monster on the front, one of them stained yellow.

The Mocha Little Latte was a new Starbucks special meant for their adult-baby clientele, loaded with decaf coffee, chocolate syrup and fresh-milk that was pumped from paid donors. Everything a grown baby needs.

Adult babies were a fairly common lifestyle. Either you grew-up completely and lived as a grown-up, or you became a baby again.

When her son and daughter told Camilla that they were babies on their eighteenth birthday, she admitted that she already knew that much. She even surprised them when they opened their presents and found out that she had already gotten them baby clothes and baby toys and bags of diapers.

After they had told their friends that they were adult babies -- or "coming out of the toy-chest" as the kids called it -- they would take turns babysitting their friends. One of them even came out as an adult baby themself shortly thereafter and Camilla would schedule playdates with their parents.
