The 2D Room

“They made it past the barrels faster than I thought they would” Nana said. “Great. Now we can take our time with the rest of the tour.” Jenny, who was bouncing like a child that had had too much sugar, glared **** at the robot receptionist. Unfazed by Jenny's harsh look Nana started walking down the hall. “This way please.”

Soon coming across another branching hallway she stopped and turned to the group. “This is the entrance to the 2D room. It's entrance setup is my personal favorite of your rooms. Could Akane and Nikki please enter their room now?”

“Yeah right” said Nikki. “As if it's going to be that easy. After the last two rooms I bet there's some really awful method to enter.” Nikki and Akane walked over to the hallway and looked down the corridor. Sure enough there was an immediate and glaring issue with the hallway. Where what should have been a normal walkway was instead a path with chunks of the ground missing ensuring you would have to jump your way across the hall.

“What is this?” Nikki questioned turning to Nana. “Are you seriously expecting us to platform our way to our room?”

“Naturally” Nana said as if it was the most normal thing in the world. “Most side scrolling video games are platformers so it seemed appropriate. Any more questions?”

“Yes” was Nikki's reply. “What happens if we fall into one of the holes? Surely it would be bad for this whole harem concept if we got seriously hurt, wouldn't it?”

“Not to worry” Nana said. “At the bottom is pool that will break your fall that stretches all the way to the end of the hallway. When standing it is only about waist deep and you can easily wade your way through to the end of the path. At the end is a warp panel that will deposit you in front of your door.”

Getting a little wet sounds way better than jumping my way across this stupid hallway. Walking over to the first hole Nikki prepared to jump in.

“Of course the liquid at the bottom also acts as an aphrodisiac so do keep that in mind if you want to take the bottom route” Nana said before she could jump. At the mention of aphrodisiac Akane squeaked and looked at the first pit like it was a gateway to hell.

Of course Nikki thought. Couldn't be that easy could it. Turning to Akane she asked “Do you want to go first or should I?”

Akane looked at her and shook her head vigorously. Sighing Nikki turned back to the pit. “Fine. I'll go first.” Taking a small running start she began jumping over each of the holes. At least the jumps aren't that bad.

Not stopping Nikki quickly reached the end and reached the door. The door was painted to look like a question mark block from Mario. Turning back to see Akane's progress she saw the girl hesitating in front of the first hole.

“Come on” she shouted back to the girl. “It's not that bad. You'll do fine.”

Seeming to perk up a little at the encouragement Akane took a running start and jumped the first hole. Landing on the other side Akane did not move for a minute. Opening her eyes Akane looked around seemingly surprised that she had made it. Looking to Nikki with an overjoyed look on her face Nikki smiled back at her encouragingly. With boosted confidence Akane began to jump over the remaining holes. After Akane made it over Nikki opened the door and both went into the room.

You've got to be kidding me Nikki thought looking around their new room. The back wall was a giant mural of the end of a Mario level with the castle and flag. Floating above the castle was Bowser in his clown car holding what appeared to be her wearing a pair of overalls and noticeably nothing else. Jumping towards the top of the flag pole was Akane in the same getup only the legs had been cut off from her overalls exposing her legs. Two closets took up the corners of the room each decorated like a question block but instead of the question mark was each of their faces. Next to her closet was a green dresser and a red dresser sat next to Akane's. Should I be offended I got the Luigi dresser? The bed in the middle broke the Mario theme that had been going and instead looked like someone had removed the top of Dr. Wily's saucer and placed a mattress in it.

The left wall continued with a Megaman theme showing the two of them standing in Dr. Light's lab. Akane was wearing a helmet, blue leotard, and had a blue blaster on her arm. Nikki was wearing Dr. Wily's lab coat and tie and nothing else. Lined up next to the wall were several bean bags with various Mario, Megaman, and Sonic enemy designs on them.

The right wall's design was Green Hills from Sonic with the two of them surrounded by various Eggman robots. Akane was dressed in Amy Rose's scandalously short red dress while Nikki was wearing Rouge the Bat's exposing outfit. A weird looking door was in the middle very much resembling a boss gate from a Megaman game.

Looking back the entrance wall was an image of the two of them standing atop a large pile of treasure with a large tower in the background. Both of them were wearing revealing armor with Nikki holding a shovel above her head while Akane held a big shield aloft.

“Shall we check out the bathroom?” Nikki asked. Akane nodded at her and they made their way to the door in the right way. Not seeing a handle Nikki reached out and touched it and the door slowly raised just like in a Megaman game. Passing through it and into the bathroom the girls looked around. The toilet looked normal enough but the bathtub in the corner of the room was shaped like an upturned Bowser shell. There was also a full body mirror standing in a corner and a sink attached to the wall. “Hope you like baths because we don't have a shower.”

Heading back out into the main room Nikki looked at the single bed and sighed. “I was thinking we've had a long day and who knows what will happen tomorrow so what do you say about us just hitting the sack? It looks like we're sharing a bed and I'd prefer us not to be awkward about this.”

Akane looked between Nikki and the bed a few times before nodding to her. As the two of them climbed into bed Nikki thought to herself Girl seems nice enough but a timid thing like her should make an easy first target for meeting my quota. Nikki fell asleep planning which girls she could most easily beat for her transformation.
