That Lara does something similar to her

"Well... it's like this..." All of a sudden, Nicole starts sobbing and a few tears come out of her eyes. "S-she does similar things to me."

I'm a little speechless when I hear this from Nicole. She's bullying her own sister? She's even worse than I thought.

I stand up and give Nicole a hug. "It's okay, let it out. Sometimes you just have to let the tears out" I try to comfort her. Nicole hugs me too and puts her head against my chest.

After about a minute she calms down a bit so we can sit down. "I'm sorry. I-I haven't l-t talked about this in a long time."

"I knew Lara was a monster, but I never thought she would bully her own sister." "I-it's not just the bullying," says Nicole, who is still sobbing a bit but slowly calming down.

"Not just bullying? What else does she do? If you want, you can tell me everything one by one." "I'd love to," Nicole says, calming down enough to talk normally again.

Before she starts, she grabs a pair of glasses, which are lying next to her on the nightstand. When she sees my confused look she says "oh I usually have contacts in them. They just fell out." I nod understandably and she starts the story.

"Well first you have to know, Lara has always been the little princess. She was born premature and was really lucky to survive. So my parents always take great care of her.

So it all started when I was about 16 I think. I had my first boyfriend, he was also 16, I was really happy because I liked him for a while. Anyway after about a month of dating he was here for the first time to meet my family. It all went very well, he got along well with everyone.

Then I had to leave briefly, because a friend was sick and I was supposed to bring her the papers we did at school. My friend waited for me in my room and watched some TV while I left. About 30 minutes later I was back home and went straight up to my room.

My boyfriend wasn't there, so I looked in the bathroom, but he wasn't there either. Then I walked past Lara's room and heard strange noises coming from inside. I opened the door and then saw Lara making out with my boyfriend."

Nicole's tears come again and I take her in my arms again. "Thank you," she says, quickly calming down. "I approached them about what that was about and he just said that Lara was hotter and that he didn't have a choice. I yelled at him and chased him out of the house.

Then when I told my parents what happened, Lara just lied and made them believe that he **** himhelf over her. They believed her and that's how it started, that she stole my friends from me."

I have to swallow and process what Nicole just said. She has stolen her own sister's boyfriends? I don't know what to say and therefore remain silent for the time being.

Since I don't say anything, Nicole continues. "Then it always went on like that. When I had a new boyfriend, she always flirted directly with him and after a short time I always caught her as if she was doing it on purpose for me to see her. After the guys were gone, she always started to say that she is so much hotter than me, and that I with my appearance can be happy that guys talk to me at all.

This has gotten worse and worse over the years. I try to avoid her for the most part, and I haven't had a relationship in a long time now, so she could barely trie me. I have had it in my mind that she is looking for someone else somewhere else. I was just glad she was leaving me alone.

I've overheard her talking to friends on the phone and I've heard your name and the way she talks about you. So I was just... thinking that maybe you found out, that she was just... bullying you because I was avoiding her as much as I could. I was a little afraid that you were going to get back at me somehow with the inspection or something."

Nicole looks up at me with somewhat red eyes. I can understand why she was scared, I think to myself. "You don't have to be scared. I didn't know, and even if I had, I would have understood you staying away from her."

"Thank you," Nicole returns. "Um do you still want to inspect me?" she asks calmly, but also a little nervously.
