So you text Jacob back telling him that you're up for the plan. You find it slightly surprising the phone, tv and internet are all working still if the world really is in chaos, but these things are so automated now you guess.

He replies back quite quickly: "Few people here already, can you pick up people in Big Town or come straight here?"
You can't drive, well you can you just haven't passed your test and you're terrible at starting the car, you remind him of this.

Why the fuck did you think that mattered as long as you can get a car moving and steer you can drive now.
