Testing Loyalties

After manipulating her comrades into giving up all their loot and other gear leaving them completely naked me and my new Paladin friend left. Leaving with my new Conrad we eventually came back out to the road. It seemed we had come out at the perfect time. There was a convoy of carriages coming down the side road heavily guarded and the head of the bunch was a beautiful wolf clan girl.

Using Appraise I Was able to determine that this wolf clan girl was level 68 which was fairly high and her hand to hand skill was capped with the ability Impeccable Speed . She also had the passive ability incredible loyalty. It appeared that she served a lord that was traveling in the convoy.

I knew right away I wanted this wolf girl no matter what. Using another two magic abilities combining them which allowed me to find who was traveling in this convoy. It appeared to me that the lord being guarded had actually been the one that sent guards to kill and capture other people of the wolf clan. Though this would be impossible to prove.

So I opted for the next best thing. Searching in my bag I put back The Greater Charm Necklace away then I pulled out the ability Editor Pens I had stored in my bag. They in the original game were used to edit abilities of creatures you had tamed or made contact with. It was a long shot but I was gonna try them on this wolf clan girl.

I opt for two changes. First I added the skill Undying Love which at first wanted to auto lock onto the lord she served. I quickly changed that to myself before accepting. Then I used one of the other Editor Pens to adjust her Incredible Loyalty to be to me then I saved.

Reusing my Appraise ability it was confirmed. The changes actually worked and took hold then an unexpected change occurred the ability Perfect Spy appeared on her. I then stepped in front of the convoy. “My my you are a beauty what’s your name wolf girl and who are you?” I said because I still was unsure of her name.

Her eyes went from shocked to relaxed as they settled on me. “I am Rutelia La Rosa and I am yours my lord.” She then bowed her head with a smile. “Alright Rutelia would you kindly kill every man in this convoy for me.” I said as if it was the most casual thing in the world.

Rutelia’s face doesn’t change from a smile as she vanishes for a second and the two closest guards heads fall off onto the ground. “For you my lord I shall leave no male survivors.” I heard her say and five minutes later the head of her previous lord was lying at my feet as she waited to be praised.

The only female in the convoy besides Rutelia was the lord’s wife. Using some _Truth Serum _we learned she had been asking her husband to kill the beast people for their fur which made nice dresses. She often fantasised about what Rutelia’s fur could make. Much to Rutelia’s dismay I would not let her kill this woman. Instead I used her as another test subject. Using a cattle seal which in the previous game was only used on animals I turned the once rich woman into nothing but livestock.

The woman’s brain was mush now and she would listen to the seal’s owner’s commands only.

Out of the eight carriages in the convoy we only needed two. We emptied the first of all the furniture and cushions and kept it for the cattle, riches, and armour. The second we made sure had all the finest furniture as we would travel in that one.

There was a woman who rode in not long after on another carriage offering to take people into the main town. With a quick mind read spell I learned she was planning to take people into a trap and rob them of all their money. We happened to need another driver seeing as Rutelia could only drive one of the two carriages so I decided this bandit needed a new collar. I slapped a low level **** collar onto her and immediately she was mine.

Selling the carts we didn’t need took hardly any time since we were in the middle of nowhere. Then we were on our way.
