Test the ray

Larry was excited to see if this new gun actually worked, but he knew he had to be careful with it. If it did work, and it fell into the wrong hands, it could be bad.

Larry took the gun with him and accidentally bumped into Betty Brant.

"Ow!" she yelped. "Watch where you're going!"

Larry set the gun on one and zapped her.

"What was that?" Betty asked.

"Oh, nothing," Larry smirked. "By the way, Betty, did you hear that Captain America and Iron Man once double-teamed Natasha Romanoff in Central Park while some bystanders videotaped it?"

"Gross!" Betty cried. "And no one stopped it?"

Now Larry knew the gun worked. Betty was smart, smart enough to know that the story he told her was just a fabrication.

"Where are you headed?" Larry asked her.

"Library," Betty said. "I have to do research for my midterm project."

"I'll come with you," Larry said. "You want me to come with you."

Betty nodded. "You can come, but don't get on my nerves."

Larry and Betty walked to the library, and Larry made sure they were in a more secluded area so he could mess with Betty more.
