Test out the apps

The first thing you decide to check out is the customization app. You type your name into the search bar: Michael White. Then, a 3-d model of you appears on screen with the same clothes you have on. Next to the model are some select boxes, text boxes, and sliders.

One select box says, “Superpower”. You click on that and the screen changes to show different superpowers with sliders next to them. It seems the sliders are there to adjust anything you select.

You tap on a superpower that says ‘Time Stop’ and a text box pops up. The box says, “choose the amount of time that is stopped. You type in ten minutes, then the text box goes back.

You’re not sure how to activate it, so you just say “Stop Time” and hope that does something. You look out your window and see a bird frozen midair. Shaking your head in disbelief, you grab a pencil on your nightstand, hold it up and let go. But the pencil stays.

“Holy shit! I’ve just stopped fucking time! This is the coolest thing on the goddamn planet!
