No money to change hands. I'll sign the rights over to you. Just give me your clothes."

"I'm not just going to strip off in front of you!" Sue said hotly.

"Why not? Nothing I haven't seen before, after all," Mae teased.

The heroine's nails bit into her palms. She stared into Mae's eyes, those weird blue contacts so intense—and she considered. As much as Sue hated to admit it, Mae had a point. Sue could turn invisible and move unseen all the way back to the Baxter Building. Hell, she could turn invisible now and strip down, and leave Mae with her clothes and nothing else.

Sue chewed the thought. She couldn't believe she was even consdering this ridiculous offer.

"I want to see the negatives and the paperwork. Proof you actually own the rights," Sue said, as much to stall for time as anything.

Tess Tempest raised an eyebrow.

"You don't trust me?"

Sue's smile was tight-lipped. "I just want all of our cards on the table."

The naked woman sighed. She lurched to her feet, and the heroine found herself staring at that shaven pussy for a moment before Mae turned and walked out of the living room and into an office that adjoined it. "So?" Mae asked. "Do we have a deal?"

The Invisible Woman scowled. She hated this. Hated herself for considering this. A part of her wondered if it was even worth it. Who cared if someone on the internet saw her naked?

Then she thought of the kids. Don't Google mommy. She sighed.

"We'll need a contract," Sue said.

Mae retreated back to her office. As a producer and distributor, she had a number of contract templates. The printer whirred as Sue considered what she was about to do.

Then it was there, laid out in black and white. Everything proper and correct, as far as Sue could tell. For a moment, she thought of having her lawyer take a look at it. Probably the clause for her clothes was unenforceable. But Sue knew that if she made a promise, she wouldn't be able to back out of it. Better to traipse across Manhattan on her own personal walk of shame than to lie and cheat.

Mae held the pen.

"Your turn. Clothes off. Then we sign. You leave with what you came for."

Sue took a deep breath. She immediately regretted it, because of how it made her chest puff out.

So she stood up, and prepared to disrobe.
