Hana grabbed her things quickly as she heard the Shambling Mound outside the window. The terrified girl hoped she could sneak out the door to avoid it... But life isn't like that. She winced as the door loudly creaked open, firmly drawing the monster's attention!

She burst out across the clearing with her equipment slung over her shoulder, having had no time to put it back on. She just ran, ran as hard as she could, but the monster was right on her heels.

Realising she couldn't escape that easily, she gripped her sword firmly and spun round to swing it at the monster. But alas, both of her swipes completely missed!

This monster was really out of her league...

(Hana failed a 16 Evasion vs 20 Perception from the Mound. It easily noticed her.)

(Hana then failed a 12 Evasion vs 15 Speed from the Mound, it's all over her!)
