Temari puts the Kyuubi to sleep

While Temari held Naruto in trance with her genjutsu she thought that while he did not seem to be as bad as her brother Gaara used to be he still contained a bloodthirsty demon within him. Due to her ability to control the one tails Shukaku Temari thought it was within her skills to at least put the nine tails to sleep if not control it yet. She gently suggested to Naruto "now Naruto I know that you don't like the kyuubi. What would you say if I could silence it forever."

Naruto even in his trance seemed desperately hopeful at her claim, his voice rising as he asked "you can really do something about the nine-tails miss? Please! I'll do anything if you can deal with it."

Temari stared in disbelief at Naruto after his promise, not believing that a ninja would be so careless with their words and promise something they could not deliver on. She asked "are you sure you will do anything for me if I deal with the nine-tails?" Naruto nodded his head rapidly, answering proudly even through the trance "I never go back on my word, that's my ninja way."

Temari sighed, not really understanding how a ninja could be this pure but saying firmly "very well then Naruto if you are so determined then as the price for my assistance you will become my willing **** along with the kyuubi eventually." Along with her words an extra dose of her chakra infused wind flowed into Naruto's mind whispering the word OBEY.

Naruto could only nod and accept the terms, bound as he was by his word and the trance he was in.

Temari smiled in relief and commanded of her new **** "now my **** I need you to fully relax and allow my words to reach every part of your mind even the part occupied by the kyuubi." While he obeyed she summoned more chakra than she had ever dared to put into her genjutsu, infusing it with her intentions to reach the nine-tails.

The wind drifted into Naruto's ear and from there traveled to the seal world tied to his mind, slipping between the bars and into the ears of the sleeping kyuubi whispering three words.

RELAX

SLEEP

TRANCE

Due to the kyuubi already being asleep from boredom and still recovering from being torn in half the words half echoed in his mind, making him drift into a deeper sleep and his eyes glaze over. Temari and Naruto of course had no idea if the genjutsu had even worked since neither had access to the seal but she had enough confidence in her skills to be reasonably sure that she had succeeded at least partially.

With her end of the bargain complete Temari told Naruto "now Naruto I will still meet you at the exams as your friend but when I need you to do something you will do it at your earliest convenience." Naruto nodded as his eyes cleared up with the end of their discussion but deep within them a trace of the trance remained ready and waiting to bring him under again. Temari left the same way she came in, satisfied and just a little terrified of how close she might have come to destruction.
