Teasing and talking

As expected, there are a lot of knowing smiles as everyone eats breakfast the next morning. Of course, Julie and you are smiling as well. Naia is of course the first one to say anything.

She sits next to Julie and grins. “So much for being quiet, hmm?”

Julie laughs. “Well, I figured the rest of you already knew, and didn’t mind…”

Marin laughs. “That’s all true, but it doesn’t mean we weren’t jealous!”

You roll your eyes. “I’m sure you managed, Marin. And don’t act like you haven’t done the same thing.”

Aisha nods. “I’ve heard you and Naia lots of times.”

Marin winks. “Usually we hope you’ll join in!”

Naia giggles. “Besides, everyone knows that I don’t sleep well if I’m horny.”

You chuckle, shaking your head. “Are you ever not horny?”

The raptor girl giggles again. “Nope!”

Julie laughs, watching the byplay. “I really lucked into a good group, I think. You all seem like a ton of fun!”

You smile and nod. “We do our best. I should say that this is definitely the more wild half of the group. The others are a little more subdued.”

Aisha smiles. “Well, sometimes. You get the clothes off and all bets are off. Hayley and Helja especially!”

You chuckle. “That’s fair. We can all get a little wild sometimes.”

You would say more, but you’ve noticed that Naia and Aisha have gone quiet, and are staring into the woods. Marin notices as well, looking at them curiously. “What’s going on, you two?”

Aisha looks back at you. “Someone’s coming. Several people, actually. And they’re trying to be quiet. Sounds familiar?”

You nod. “Just like when those idiots jumped us near Lylah’s town. What do you want to do?”

Aisha shrugs. “Just wait. If they’re dumb enough to bother us here, let them.”

Naia nods. “There’s not really anything out here that could threaten our group.”

Julie looks a little worried. “What’s happening?”

You smile. “Nothing worth worrying about. The raptor sisters have very good senses. And they spent a lot of time here before I met them. I trust their judgment.”

As you say that, a large man steps out of the woods, a sneer on his face. “Well, what have we here? A gathering of deviants?”

You sigh, looking at Aisha.
