Team Effort

Kumiko tried to grab her wand, but feared it might be too late as Mademoiselle Mufette was already aiming her gauntlet at her. The felon was about to shoot, only to be knocked away by a couple of sharp talons. The talons ripped part of her catsuit open, exposing her voluptuous breasts. Crossing her arms to cover herself, she noticed the cause of her state of undress:

“The Guardian Devil! Zou shouldn’t ‘ave interfered with my ‘evenge. ‘ow feel my stench, diable!” She aimed her gauntlet, and shot the juice at our red devil.

She flapped her wings, however, causing the juice to fly back to the sender. Mademoiselle Mufette might have the DNA of a skunk, but that doesn’t mean she was immune to it herself. She gagged and teared up at the putrid smell and grabbed her throat. In the confusion, Magical Girl Kumiko shot her want at the distracted villain.

"Super Special Magical Girl Kumiko Heart Energy Beam Attack!" The shot launched Mademoiselle Mufette miles away, cursing:

“I’ll be back, Fille Magique Kumiko, Protectricede la Justice, Gardienne de la paix, l'Humanitaire désintéressé, et Vainqueur du mal. Et diable gardien!”

Guardian Devil flew down to Kumiko. “Magical Girl Kumiko, are you unharmed?”

“Yeah, but as you can see, I just had a really rough day.”

“Look, I’ll find some clothes, stay here.”

“Wait!” Interrupted Kumiko. “For as much as I would love to have clothes right now, someone should make sure Mademoiselle Mufette is locked away. With your wings, you should be there in a spell.”

“Alright, if you are sure.” She took of in the sky. “Till we meet again, Magical Girl Kumiko, Guardian of Justice, Keeper of peace, the selfless Humanitarian, and Vanquisher of Evil!“

Kumiko gave a friendly smile back, and continued her journey.

Soon after, she arrived at the front door of her home. The cars of her mom and dad weren’t there, at least. She only had to make sure her brother Kiyoshi wouldn’t see her. She tried to grab the door key from her backpack…

Only to realize that she asked Kitty the Quokka to take her bag home. She walked to the backyard, throwing pebbles at her bedroom window. It was in vain, however, as Kitty wore Kumiko’s headphones to listen to trash metal.

Kumiko took a deep breath and noticed that Kiyoshi left his bedroom window open. As far as she sees, she had four options.

1. Hide her costume and ring the door as Kishi Kumiko. He’d open the door, but he would NEVER let her live this down.
2. Ring the door as Magical Girl Kumiko. He’d open, but he will ask questions as to what a magical girl would want with his family.
3. Climb the bedroom window as Kishi Kumiko. She doesn’t know whether or not he’s in his bedroom, so she could quickly sneak into her room.
4. Finally, the riskiest option, enter the bedroom as Magical Girl Kumiko. But if she was caught, it’d be really hard to talk her way out of this.
