"It's not like that," I say, but I say it too quick and I say it too intensely for it to be anything but cover.

"What's her name, then?" she asks instead.

"It's definitely not like that," I say, emphasis on the definitely and then overcorrecting afterwards, "I mean not that it couldn't be like that... I mean it might be like that... I don't really..."

She waves me off, "Yeah I know you're still experimenting and figuring shit out. Don't worry, I get it and sometime when we have a bit of time I'll give you my theory about how we're all a little bi and it just takes the right lad or lass to turn your head but that's not the point right now.

"So it's not a girl. It's a guy. So spill it. Name."

My mouth falls open but my protest is choked off too quickly as I realize that there is no way in hell that she's going to buy it from me.

"I never got it," I mutter.

She doesn't mind.

She shrieks with a laugh and claps her hands, "I knew it! Oh, I knew there was a boy! You didn't get his name though? Did you get his number at least?"

"No," I say, shrugging, "It wasn't really like that."

"How so?"

"Well," I struggle for something to say, not wanting to say the truth of things and get into the chase with the security guard and the blowjob and the everything, "Well it was just a bit of flirting. We ran into each other in the library and we were talking and we... Well, that was a lot for me. I never did anything like that before."

"Never flirted with a guy before?" she asks me.

"No," I say meekly, "Not really."

"It is," she says, "You don't believe me?"

Rachel shaking her head at me makes my voice fade away and she reaches for me, taking my hand in hers and backing up while she took me with her.

"You don't believe me," she says, "But I can prove it. And I mean thank you for the compliment of saying that I'm 'really hot' but that has less to do with it than you'd imagine and anyways you're just as hot as I am so it wouldn't make a difference."

"I don't know about-"

"Shhh," she says, pressing her finger against my lips to silence me as she steps back against the wall and keeps me at a little closer than arm's length, "Stop talking. You're hot enough to keep quiet."

Rachel smiles, clearly loving her joke, "Now you watch. And you learn. Because the first lesson I'm going to teach you in seduction is a rather advanced one and I don't expect you to be a pro at it right out the gate but you'll get there.

"And the important thing to pick up is the general idea anyways. To understand the main thrust of things which is a simple little concept but one that you absolutely cannot miss."

She smiles and she bites her bottom lip and her fingers release my wrist as her hand turns up, her thumb pressing against her lips before she pushes it past and bites the tip of it very lightly.

"Now are you paying attention?" she asks me, "Because this is the first lesson."

As she speaks her thumb leaves her mouth and her hand slips down to the top of her dress and she makes it look like she's just idly playing with the little tie at her neckline but her fingers curl into the top of it, pressing into her breasts just enough that you can't ignore it.

"The first lesson is that talk is cheap," she says, "And body language speaks volumes."
